Drusilla danced enticingly around Angelus and giggled to herself, as he stood silently in the garden. Spike threw a burning ciggarette at his feet and snickered as it bouced off the toe of his boot. Angelus snarled, and stomped out the burning ashes. Pushing past Dru, He bore his fangs " Better watch yourself Spike my boy....I don't want to have to stomp your fire out." Rolling his eyes, the platinum crowned vamp brushed past him, wearing an evil grin. "The bloke has been gone over an hour....I'm becoming impatient."
Drusilla piroetted over and leaned into him, putting the palms of her hands against his cold, pale chest. "No worries my love....The slayer will come. They always come for my Angelus." Spikes expression quickly turned sour. "Right. Well, I'm sick of waiting... I say we change our order from delivery to carry out."
Angelus lifted his face into the cool night air and inhaled deeply. "Wait. She's nearby. I can smell the stench of her now." Dru bounced like a giddy schoolgirl on her tiptoes and sighed. After a few seconds Riley and Buffy cleared the shrubbery and walked into plain view. Riley wore a heinous grin, that Buffy was clearly unaware of. Her attention was focused elsewhere. "Angel." She said with a hint of saddness in her voice. It took only a moment for her to realize that there were in fact 3 vampires, instead of just the two. "And Spike." She growled sarcastically as she slowly moved toward them. "So let me guess Angelus...you and Dru are....vacationing? Wait till you feel the California sun on your skin. I'm telling you it's a life altering experience." Just then Riley leapt forward and snatched her arms from beside her, twisting them and finally pinning them behind her back. Buffy dropped her stake and struggled, obviously confused. "Riley, what the...." Leaning in close enough to smell the floral scent of lavender on her hair he whispered." Here's the thing Buff. I have all these feelings for you...True some of these feelings are below the belt, but I just couln't ever find the words to tell you." He leaned in a bit closer and licked her neck, purring like a tomcat. " I guess I'll just have to show you." It was a matter of seconds before his boyish good looks were overcome with demonic features. Disturbed, and a little hurt by Riley's words, Buffy twisted her neck to look at him. Her jaw dropped and shoulders fell when she looked into his glowing yellow eyes. "Riley......I'm sorry." He tightened his grip on her forearms and chuckled. "That I'm sure of. But if it makes you feel any better, you'll be out of your misery soon." Without a moments pause he bore his fangs. Angelus and Spike inched closer yet...

Darla inched closer to The two women. Her long golden locks blowing in the breeze. Her crimson lips mangled in a snarl that could only be worn by a vamp. "Hello ladies. I came here looking for Buffy...But I got something even better. A slayer and a witch. Can you just imagine the rush?"
Faith had managed to untangle her arms, and was viciously tugging at the ropes that bound her ankles. Willow quivered and spoke timidly, "But how....I mean....your dead. Buffy killed you." She leaned further into Faith with every word.
Darlas laughter echoed through the night sky. "Oh, I'm still dead sweet girl. You see....I've got friends in places you and your slayer friend don't know about. It dosen't matter what happens to me....I'll always be back. I do anything I want. Go anywhere I want..." Just then there was the gut wrenching sound of something piercing flesh and cracking bone. Darla winced in pain, then only a heavy gray cloud remained. A voice carried through the ashes, "Looks like the only way you're going to get there is in an ern." The cloud dissipated, and there stood a black clad, astoundingly beautiful young woman. She had sad eyes and light brown hair. The stake she held in her hand was way more high tech than the average .It had a silver handled grip and was incredibly thick and sharp. "Hey, you alright?"
Willow pounced to her feet and Faith finally wrenched free of the ropes and climbed to her feet. Ever so greatful, Willow smiled intensely. "Thank you SO much! Are you a slayer too?" The woman smiled awkwardly and shook her head,"Slayer?? Um....no. I'm Abbey, But you can call me Whistler."

Re:

Abigail Whistler was Whistler's vampire fighting daughter in the Blade series. Just thought I'd mix things up a bit. Don't worry, she's only playing a bit part. LOL......

Hmmm, I like the premise, as I said before, and Riley as a vamp is a nice twist I've never seen! I was kinda looking forward to Slayers vs Angelus/Spike/Dru/Darla...just to see how formidable the vamps are as a group against the best Slayer and Faith...but that Whistler chick just messed it up...😉. I'll PM you with more private stuff, NSM!

Eager to do some damage Faith muttered a quick "Sup?" toward Abbey and turned to walk away. Willow frowned, "Faith! Wait!" She growled and continued walking, "No time Red. By the time the formalities are over with B will be a juice box."
Whistler smiled intriguingly, and retrieved a tiny set of headphones out of her back pocket. " Can I help?" Faith, without missing a step turned slightly and nodded.
Willow gasped as she remembered her promise to get the orb. " You guys go! I'll catch up!" She hollered as she ran in the direction of the magic shop. "Where...?!" Whistler asked, confused as she watched Willow scurry off. And almost as if she had heard her, Willow yelled behind; "I've got to get the orb!" Glancing at Faith and wearing a look of amusement, "What the hell is an orb?" Shrugging her shoulders, she kept silent and focused. "I see." Whistler said quietly and turned on her music. The two women continued on their path.

**********

Riley leaned in for the kill when a voice bellowed behind him, startling. "Get away from her!" All four vampires froze. Xander, Anya, and Giles ran up. All three geared for battle. Giles had a dusty old hardback in his left hand. Riley sneered at Xander as he came forward, clutching a wooden cross. Earlier while they prepared themselves for battle, he had sharpened the ends of the cross for double usage. "Why don't you suck on somebody your own size?" The sound of frying bacon filled the air as it made contact, and the vamp yelped. He jumped back, releasing Buffy. She spun, instantly ready for battle. But Riley's focus remained on Xander, fuming. "I think you qualify." He viciously ran his fist into his jaw. Buffy leapt to Xanders defense and threw a punch of her own, launching Riley backward several feet.
Angelus, and Spike slowly began walking toward the crowd. Sizing them up, planning their attack. "Oh Buffy...." Angelus taunted, "You don't really think you and your little friends are going to walk away from this....do you?" Spike grinned and chimed in " I mean, after all...your cavalry really is kinda.....weak."
Giles threw the book at Anya and raised his sword." So's your bite these days." He mocked as he started toward the vamps. Spike morphed and began dancing as the blade swung through the air. "I think you'll find I've been working out....Bring it on then. Papa bear."
Buffy and Riley continued throwing punches, as Giles' fencing kept Spike at bay. Anya flipped anxiously through the pages of the book, "Where's Willow!" She yelled, aggravated. Drucilla silently crept up behind her, ready to pounce. From across the yard Xander caught sight of her and hurled himself into a dead sprint. "Anya!" He hollered as he clothes lined Dru to the ground.
Anya jumped back and gasped, realizing at that point that Angelus was still leering about. She again began flipping through pages and silently praying that Willow would be there soon.
Angelus shifted his glare from Buffy and Riley to Anya. He cocked his head slightly as he finally caught sight of what she had in her hands. The book cover was tattered and dirty and in script across the front it read "Gypsy Magics". Scoffing, he made his way toward her.

Continuing....

Angelus approached Anya slowly, a sadistic grin across his face. The stench of her fear grew stronger with every step. Anya nervously glanced up from the tattered book and froze. She began to shake violently and dug in her jacket pocket for her crucifix. "Stay away from me Angel. I mean, seriously....isn't it Buffy you want?! Mmmmm, yummy....grade-A slayer blood! Stock full of vitamins and nutrients!" She could see that her words fell on deaf ears, but persisted. "Are you mad about the book? It's not even mine, it's Giles'. Go kill him!" Having said that, Angelus was now only a few steps away. Anya began to run. He chuckled to himself as he watched her go. "That's it ....get the blood pumping for me." He tauntingly licked his fangs before he started after her.
Anya had gotten halfway across the yard. Passing Buffy and Riley, approaching Giles as he threw his blade around to fend Spike off. Spike danced around and occasionally got in a punch or two, but mostly enjoyed the work out. As she passed them, she accidentally stepped into a divot in the grass. She lost her footing and tumbled forward. She yelped in pain and dropped the book. Suddenly there was a petite, yet reasonably strong hand on her arm, catching her fall. She glanced up and exhaled. It was Faith. She grasped Anya firmly and as if she were a rag doll, and tossed her behind them. Anya, baffled, stared with intensity at Whistler.
Angelus came to an abrupt halt when he realized the darker slayer had arrived.....with company. "Faith....It's good to see you again. And you brought a friend for me. How thoughtful...personally, I always knew you preferred a threesome." Faith threw a hasty glance at Whistler and motioned toward a clearing on the grass. "Take Anya over there and keep watch. Trust me....you don't want any of this." Anya stepped forward and retrieved the book, then began to retreat cautiously. Whistler scowled, but obliged.
"Angelus." Faiths words were heavy with sarcasm,"What's the matter fang boy....couldn't handle the competition?" She nodded in the direction of Buffy and Riley. "But you know B's got this twisted attraction toward vamps...Tsk, tsk....I bet he just looks that much better." Angelus smiled fiendishly and began inching toward the slayer."C'mon Faithy....You know you're the only slayer for me." Before the last word rolled off his tongue, he threw a nasty left hook that firmly connected with her cheek. She recovered quickly and returned it with a kick to the stomach. The vamp doubled over momentarily and Faith took advantage by throwing in some right hooks. This was the brawl she had been waiting for.
Whistler held her stance in front of Anya, stake in hand. Anya watched as her friends all continued fighting. She wanted so badly to assist Xander with Drucilla, who was now straddling him, and slicing his face with her crimson talons. "Hey!" She yelled "That's my boyfriend you evil tramp!"
Just then Whistler caught sight of Willow. She was running toward them at full speed, holding a bag in her arms. "I've got it!" She yelled as she looked around her. She dodged fists and kicks as she ran. When she arrived at Anya's side she motioned to a spot underneath some nearby trees. "Let's go over here...I don't want to be too obvious."
The three trotted over and Willow began to retrieve the contents of the bag. She pulled out some raven feathers and a small bag of lavender colored powder. Finally she withdrew two glistening crystal balls. Anya's brow furrowed, "Two?"
Whistler noticed out of the corner of her eye that Xander was fighting a losing battle. "Look, do you two have this? Cause your boy could use a little assistance." Forgetting completely about the orbs, Anya gasped. "Go!GO!"
Smiling coyly, Whistler was off. Just as Drucilla had Xander by the throat, he dangled like a sack of potatoes. Approaching hastily, She lunged forward and viciously drove a stake through the rib cage of the goth looking vamp. She disintegrated and Xander fell to the ground. He massaged his throat and grumbled as he sat up, " I could've done that!"
Anya sighed with relief, knowing Drucilla was no longer a threat. Meanwhile, Willow had already layed out the appropriate tools and flipped eagerly through the pages of the spell book. "Here!" She piped. "Anya, I need you for this. I know you've dealt with the black arts before, and I'm not sure that I can do this alone. Sit here." She motioned to a spot on the grass less than a foot away. Anya obeyed, but still wore a scowl. "What do I have to do? And will somebody please tell me....who the hell is that?!" She threw a finger up at Abbey, watching her help Xander to his feet. "No time. Just read the spell as it's written. When your done, repeat. Concentrate Anya." Anya rolled her eyes and grabbed Willows hand, "You still haven't told me why theres two!" Willow shrugged," This worked before on Angel. Restored his soul. The man at the Magic Shop said if I could harvest enough power I could easily conjure two souls." Anya's only response was a blank stare. Willow sighed,"I just figured Riley saved my life tonight....Maybe we could save his right back." Again with the rolling eyes, she shrugged. "Whatever. lets just get on with it. I want to take Xander home and give him a bath."
Willow and Anya began to speak in unison. "Quod Perditum est, invenietur...."
After Xander returned to his feet he was able to get a good look at his savior. Smiling sheepishly, he extended his hand. "Hi. I'm Xander. Thanks for, uh, saving my hide back there." Abbey shook his hand and glanced around at the other battles surrounding them. "Whistler. No problem." He chuckled boyishly and stepped back a little, still enjoying the view. " Seriously, how can I ever repay you? Did I mention I'm a fabulous masseuse?"

Re:

Anya and Willow continued to chant, "Not dead...Nor not of the living. Spirits of the interregnum, I call. Gods bind them, cast their hearts from the evil realm. Return." A single drop pf sweat fell from Willows forehead and Anya's breath quickened.
Across the lawn, Buffy and Riley's altercation intensified. Riley had Buffy pinned down, sitting on her chest glaring down at her. With one hand he snatched Buffy's stake from inside her pocket and grinned. "Lets give this a try...shall we?" With a forceful downward thrust, he penetrated the slayers shoulder. A deafening wail pierced the night. From a few yards away Whistler leapt into action, Xander in tow. As she dashed across the yard, she pulled something from her belt. It began a small black box, and in a instant transformed into what resembled a bow. An awesome beam of light connecting two points. She crept quickly behind Riley, and without a word thrust the beam of light into his gut. Buffy watched as the laser beam sliced him in two. Riley began to scream, but his bellow was interrupted as he burst into ash. Laying motionless, the slayer exhaled. "Wh-at is that thing?" Xander fell to his knees and grasped the stake that impaled Buffy. She took a deep breath and clenched her fists, preparing. With a swift jerk, he pulled the wooden object from her shoulder. Whistler quickly tore off the sleeve of her shirt and handed it to Riley. "Wrap this around. underneath the arm and around. Make it tight." He did exactly that, and Buffy quickly sat up. "I'll be fine, I heal fast." She stood, now face to face with Whistler. "I'm sorry, but..."
Whistler gasped as she realized she had left the slayers question unanswered, "No, I'm sorry...It's a UV arc. Self explanatory really." Xander stood and put a hand on Buffy's shoulder. The gesture went unnoticed, and she continued her gaze toward Abbey. "OK, not that I'm ungrateful...But who on gods green earth are you?!" With a heavy sigh she shrugged, "Names Abigail Whistler. I kinda tagged along with your friends over there." She motioned toward Faith and Angelus bloody dispute across the green. Buffy thought for a second. "Whistler....you must be related to that half breed that visited me the last time Angel got fangy." Abbey wore a look of bewilderment."You know, ugly hat, bad jokes....half demon....Am I ringing any bells?" As if a light bulb had just turned on, she snickered, "He's my cousin by marriage. Long story....He always claimed to be half demon, the family just figured he was full of crap. My father was Abraham Whistler...long time vampire hunter?" Buffy shook her head, "No bells ringing here." Xander interrupted with a nod toward Willow and Anya.
The two women were now drenched with perspiration, and Their faces were raised to the sky. "Te implor, Doamne, nu ignora aceasta rugaminte!" The two orbs began to illuminate as the chanting continued. Xander ran over and stood beside Anya, slightly concerned. "Nici mort, nici al fiintei Lasa orbita sa fie vasul care-i va transporta, sulfletul la el." Buffy's attention turned to Angelus, and Whistler walked over to join Xander, "What the hell is wrong with them?" Xander snickered uneasily, "It's a restoration spell. The idea is to give the vampire (he nodded toward Angelus) his soul back." A quick giggle escaped her lips before she could stifle it, "I'm sorry...a vampire with a soul? How pointless is that?" Xander shook his head and smiled, "Preachin to the choir honey."
Buffy's focus on Angelus waned, as her attention was brought to Giles' grim situation. He had now lost his sword. Giles had fallen to his knees, and Spike circled him, smirking. "Uh oh daddy-o....looks like it's finally time to retire."

Whistler quickly tore off the sleeve of her shirt and handed it to Riley.

You all knew I meant Xander.....right?? LOL...Sorry, It won't let me edit....guess I should pay closer attention

NEways, continuing......

Buffy panicked and began to sprint toward Spike. She reached him just as he lifted Giles from his knees and leaned in for the kill. Swiftly kicking the back of his right leg, she watched as he flew backward. Releasing his grip on Giles, he landed flat on his back. With an appreciative nod, Giles began to slowly retreat toward the crowd. A sarcastic snort and Spike promptly returned to his feet. "Now this is more like it. I was hoping I'd get to finish what I started at daddy's place." Buffy erupted in a frenzy of powerful kicks and forceful thrusts. Spike laughed as she pummeled him. "Thank you , may I have another?" He taunted as the blows became more intense. Finally she landed a roundhouse that sent him flying into a nearby tree. She pounced on him, driving her forearm into his neck, that was still healing from earlier. "This time Spike....I'm gonna watch you die."
Spike shoved Buffy from atop him full force. She flew backward a few yards, but remained on her feet."Funny slayer....I was going to say the same thing to you. Do you think your beloved Scoobies could kill you when you turned? Do you think Ole' daddy nancy pants could look you in the eye and drive a stake through your heart? How about the other white meat over there? From what I hear, she'd probably get off on it....I know I would." His fangs showed as he talked, and he stood as if ready to pounce. Buffy charged at him, stake in hand, and just as she was about to make contact, Spike swerved. He spun on his heel and found himself behind the slayer. Grabbing her by the arms, he enveloped her in what would look like a bear hug. Throwing her head back , she split his lip. Blood began pouring down his chin. He stuck out his tongue and began to lick his upper lip and chuckling.
Just then Buffy caught sight of Faith and Angelus' battle. Faith sat, thrashed, atop Angelus with her stake drawn. She was ready to make her kill. "Faith, NO!" Buffy screamed. It echoed beneath the trees and Faith paused. As she did so Angelus propelled her backward, forceing her off of him and on her behind. He growled and started toward Spike. " I told you she was mine!" Faith jumped quickly to her feet and rushed Angelus from behind. This threw him forward into the other two and the four of them hit the grass. Both vamps snarled, and the two slayers reached for their stakes.
The crowd watched from several yards away and Xander began to get antsy. He took a step forward as they all hit the ground. Whistler grabbed him by the arm, stopping him. "Look." She said as she nodded toward Anya and Willow. The orbs were now bright as two miniature suns , and both women had eyes to match. The chanting stopped and thats all that was left was heavy breathing. Giles approached and gasped as he realized there were two orbs. He'd never seen an ensoulment done on two vamps before, and he wasn't convinced that it could work. "Oh dear." He said as he grabbed the arms of Xander and Whistler and drew them away from the orbs. Within seconds the women fell still, eyes no longer glowing. The light from the orbs had transferred into two racing beams of light that made their way toward the slayers and their prey.
Faith and Buffy jumped to their feet and stood poised, ready for battle.

Continuing....

Just as the slayers hit their feet, the vampires were engulfed in light. Angelus moaned as the light grew brighter, and Spike curled himself into the fetal position. Buffy was relieved and disturbed simultaneously. She watched as the illumination slowly dissipated. Both vampires lay motionless on the ground. Buffy took a step closer to Angelus and spoke timidly, "Angel?" The vamp opened his eyes and slowly pushed himself off the ground. Spike remained still. "Buffy?" Angels face was full of sadness and regret, "Oh god....Cordelia! Buffy...I'm so sorry." His head fell and he stared with intensity at the emerald blades of grass surrounding his feet. Buffy released a small sigh of relief and rushed toward him. Throwing her arms around his neck she whispered into his ear,"You didn't kill Cordelia, Angelus did. Oh god, Angel, I thought I'd lost you!" They stood silent, neither one letting go.
Xander and Giles helped Willow and Anya to their feet. Xander hugged Anya with great intensity, "That was awesome ,An." Giles placed a hand on Willows back, his brow furrowed. "What would possess you to try to do a double ensoulement spell?!" Willow gave a small, timid smile. "I owed Riley a favor...besides, it worked...didn't it?" Just then she looked over at the four bodies across the lawn. Scowling instantaneously she took a step away from Giles, "Where's Riley!?" Xander intercepted her gaze, "Sorry Will, we had to dust him. There was no choices here." Her shoulders fell and her eyes grew wide and hazy."Then who...?" Her voice waned as she realized who the second victim of the spell was. "Spike?! What a waste!"
The crowds attention was diverted toward a masculine, black clad young man that approached. "There you are!" He spoke with a quirky smile, and looked almost directly at Whistler. "Blade and I have been tracking you all night! What the hell happened to you?" Whistler grinned, "I've been....busy. Everyone, this is Hannibal King. King, this is everyone. You should've been here....they're on a whole nother level of vampire slayage around these parts. Unreal. Where's Blade?" King gazed among the group after a small wave of the hand and a nod hello, " He got caught up in the graveyard. I was on my way there." Whistler turned and faced the crowd. "Well, I gotta go. It was nice meeting everyone...maybe we'll cross paths again. Willow, if you're ever in Detroit look us up....we could put your type of skill to work." Willow stepped forward and hugged her. "Thank you....I will." Whistler nodded toward Xander, "Nice meeting you Xander. Rain check on that massage." And without another word she and King disappeared into the trees. Xanders face turned a deep shade of crimson, as he turned toward Anya. Anya's face was rigid as she slapped him across his, "WHAT massage!?" Giles and Willow rolled their eyes and began walking across the yard.
Faith stood silent, watching the two lovers embrace. Before long she noticed some movement from Spike. She kept her stake handy and inched toward the vamp. He rocked himself slowly on the thick blanket of grass. As she grew closer, she heard him muttering to himself. "No. No, bad. No more blood. Oh god, I'm sorry. Stop." Buffy and Angelus finally broke their embrace, and looked down upon him. Buffy shook her head and frowned just as Giles and Willow approached. "Willow...what the?!"
Giles snickered, "The spell was intended for Riley and Angelus. Things didn't proceed as planned." Buffy stifled a laugh and returned her gaze to the tortured vampire lying on the lawn,"You know, I wanted to kill him. But this is just so much better." After finishing her sarcastic statement she cringed when she realized how rude it was. She looked at Angel and took his hand, "Sorry honey!" Angel just stared at Spike silently.
After a few more minutes of muttering and rocking, Spike slowly arose from the grass. "Staring. Don't see me. They all see me. Him....and you." He cowered away from the crowds intrigued stares. A coy smile covered Faiths dark good looks as she mulled the vampire over. "Will, I think you just gave me an early birthday present." After a second or two she approached Spike, running her fingers through his hair, "There, there love...it's going to be alright." Buffy wore a look of shear disgust, "Faith, he's damaged goods.....and EEEW!" Faith smirked and threw a nod at Buffy, " So am I, B. Catcha later, got some work to do..." Faith lead Spike across the lawn as he continued to utter nonsense. She wrapped her arm around his waist and got a slight feel of his masculine physique as she held him up. "Don't worry baby....I'll steer ya around the corners." She whispered as they disappeared from sight.
The remaining crowd stood in silence and disgust as they watched the two walk off. Buffy was the first to speak. "Now that I have to go home and burn my retinas!" Giles nodded in agreement. From a few yards away Xander and Anya continued to bicker over the Whistler incident. And Willow hummed happily to herself, giving herself silent props for a job well done. Buffy stepped forward gingerly and wrapped her arms around Angels waist, laying her head on his chest. "Lets go home."

Re:

about gosh darned time.....i'm gonna print this off now and read it during the end of parts of StarGate SG-1.....🙂

I know, I've been working on this damned thing forever...and it still sucks. LOL 😉 I think I did a little better on the Spuffy piece I did a while back. It's a little shorter...and DEFINATELY not family board material....So I guess maybe I could have a bright future in the pornographic novel field...LMAO...Kidding...it wasn't quite that naughty....More like rated R. LOL
