Do you love DH, which is your characters that you love, Gaby is so funny

Used to watch it with my ex. Loved that show...and the show I've mentioned on these boards before kind of reminds me of DH if there were zombies...it has that same feel to the show. Anyway enough of that. My fav character was probably Mike Delfino. But Gaby sure was hot

Mike Delfino is a great guy
Still have to watch. Think I might watched a random episode years ahead. Have season 1 on DVD so will give it a watch sometime.

I was a big fan back then and I'm probably due for a rewatch as I don't remember much but I know my favorite character changed a lot usually between Susan, Gaby and Lynette! Who was your favorite couple @spikenbuffy ?

I don't know, I love Mike & Susan they are sweet, Carlos & Gaby are a funny couple and Lynette & Tom went through a lot of things together and are the couple of the show since S1, Bree & Orson I wanted them to get together but Orson has become a Dick in the end.

I love all of them too! But I agree with Orson. I think I loved him mostly because of Kyle M. thought but they were great at the beginning!

Bree was my favorite !

Bree is great, she went through so much since S1, I really don't know which woman I prefer between Gaby, Lynette, and Bree, I love Susan but she is the least because she didn't have struggles with problems like the others

I only liked the first season, afterwards it went downhill, though it remained watchable. But you can really tell that they did not know what to do with the characters after the first season.

I love Desperate Housewives, even if the seasons are a little up and down. My favourite character was always Bree, she had so many layers and complexities to her and Marcia Cross was great in the role.

Marcia Cross is good at playing "psychotic" characters. I used to love her in Melrose Place as Kimberley shaw
Omg, yes, I loved her in Melrose Place!!! Kimberly was my favourite character on that crazy mess of a show, she was so much fun to watch and Marcia always looked like she was having so much fun playing her.

Kimberly is fun but she had a hard life when she started to be with Michael

My favorite too but Sydney is a close second. That show was such a guilty pleasure, I watched it with my mother.I have good memories with it.

Man, Sydney drove me nuts sometimes, her refusal to get over Michael, even after all the times he treated her so badly! But she was a very entertaining character.

I don't like Sydney, she's annoying about Michael, she went with her sister ex-husband but I had some pain that Jane didn't believe that it wasn't her who did something to Michael in S3 or other things.
Don't you think it's weird that Michael was someone good in the S1 but then at the start of S2 he became a coward, he was sweet with Jane in S1.
And what do you think about Amanda?

It wasn't just Michael, the whole show changed after Season 1. Melrose Place started as a fairly run-of-the-mill 90s drama about a group of people living in the same complex and then spiraled into an out-of-control and over-the-top batshit crazy soap opera. Kind of similar to Riverdale and how Season 1 was a standard teen drama but Season 2 morphed into this out-of-control train wreck. But honestly, I think both shows were the better for it, there's something very appealing about terrible television that's driven by plot and which keeps you watching just to see what kind of crazy will pop up next.

Amanda was an okay character but I found many other characters much more interesting than her. Although I did like her cancer storyline, it made her a bit more human.
