Did Angel Sleep with Faith?

In Enemies, when Angel supposedly loses his soul and teams up with Faith. Does Angel sleep with Faith? They fade to black directly after they fall on the floor and start making out, and later he says he never wanted it to go that far. Exactly how FAR was he talkin? Your opinion?

OMG! i can't believe i never thought about this before! great insight, Alex.
but i'm not sure how 'far' it actually went.
this was S3, when Angel still thought sex=Angelus...he only realized in ATS S5 that 'one more of perfect happiness' was a rare thing, and usually only found with that one person. and although i hate to admit it, that person was Buffy.
while i don't think they went 'all the way' they may have gone far enough to result in the tension between Angel and Buffy.

I mean, he had to act and think like there were no concequences. I just figured if he DID, there would be so much guilt and pressure of not actually WANTING to do it, that he wouldn't have lost his soul. Did that make sense?

yeah, that made perfect sense, actually. i get what you mean, if he was so tied down with the guilt of not wanting to do it, he might have just went into auto pilot.
but what if he was thinking of buffy the whole time...?

I don't think he and Faith did it. Ewww. And besides, he was only supposed to pretend as if he had lost his soul. Had he slept with Faith, he would have lost his soul for real like he did in season 2 after sleeping with Buffy.

Very true- that could definately have had negative results. But it's possible if he was thinking of Buffy it was his betrayal to her. I suppouse it would've been hard to maintain wood (LOL) if this were the case. I guess in Buffys case , since she asked him to participate- it's a bad case of be careful what you ask for.....

Hm, Faith might have mad skills but I doubt Angel would be "perfectly happy" with her. Buffy and Angel were crazy in love, totally different situation. I agree that they probably didn't sleep together though, don't think Angel would've done that, in that case we would have heard more about it later...

It was too long since I watched s3 though, have to do something about that.

Seriously now; I guess you're right (OMG; is that me agreeing with you?), but I was under the impression that was the act, rather than the emotions, that made Angel lose his soul. Cause if we're talking strictly emotions, I guess Faith couldn't give Angel "a happy". But as Cordelia so gracefully put it, I thought it was just the raw sense of that saying and thus, Faith could be perfectly capable to give him that.

And yeah; had they slept together, Faith would be holding that against people like she did with Xander

Do her doggy style, give a few ins and outs then pull out...but instead of 'reaching the end' himself just spat on her back...that way he hasn't finished, still leaves frustrated thus not at peace, and she thinks he's done the do..........

Which brings me onto another question.....do you think Angel ever.....by himself?........i mean would he be scared that he'd give himself a moment of true happiness?

No it's the emotions, not the act itself that turns Angel into Angelus, or at least that's how I understand it.

Also, when Buffy says something about Faith sleeping with her boyfriend, Angel gets really surprised and is like "What? I never did that..", while Buffy is course talking about Riley.

Oh... I was just consumed with how Faith would make me feel and just figured Angel would feel the same...

Actually....chances are he wouldn't have lost his soul...as he discovers later that sex doesn't automatically mean perfect happiness (which is why he is able to have sex with Darla, etc.).

BUT....in S3 of Buffy he is still under the impression that sex=loss of soul so I doubt he would have let it go as far as sex.

I don't think they had sex... maybe they did something kinky that didn't involve giving Angel massive amounts of pleasure. like said before, Angel thought that if he had sex he would lose his soul. Then that would make sense as to why Buffy was so upset with Angel. Or more sense, atleast.

Didn't Eve interupt Angel when he was in the shower beating his... yeah? And I don't think he can acheive perfect happiness by himself if he can't with Darla. I'm pretty sure he was thinking Buffy when banging Darla, they do look a little alike. EDIT: I mean.. they're both tiny, blonde, and have about the same build. Plus it happened is season two which was only a year after Buffy/Angel /EDIT. So if actually engaging in sex while thinking of someone you love doesn't get him there, then why would doing it himself while thinking of that special person?

And I don't think he can acheive perfect happiness by himself if he can't with Darla. I'm pretty sure he was thinking Buffy when banging Darla, they do look a little alike. He did achieve a perfect moment with Darla. That of perfect despair. But like has been said in many threads many times, until season 5 Angel, its fair to say Angel assoiciated Perfect Happiness with sexual gratification. Even the Darla thing
I don't think him having sex with one person while thinking of someone else wouild confuse the issue because in his concious mind he would know who it isnt......so he could be banging Rachel McAdams pretending its Buffy have a marvellous 'release' but not experience perfect happiness.

ETA: for the record, I think that Angel and Faith had a conversation in Sanctuary or 5X5 stating that they never had when she mentioned being with Buffy's boyfriend and then corrected herself by saying "not you the other one"... Riley who Angel didn't know about before that moment.
