Did anybody notice this traditional phrase in Buffy/Angel?

For example almost every season in Buffy or Angel they have this line

"I Commit, I'm Committed, I'm Committee

or

Eve from Angel S5

"I'm a Liaison, I Liaise"

get it?

Yeah, I guess it's just another part of the "Buffyspeak". It's just the way they talk... and I love it. I kinda adopted it as my own language 😛

It's like the whole:

P1: "It's a long story"
P2: *Summarises in a sentence*
P1: "Ok, not that long"

Joss likes to recycle linguistic devices like that, makes it into another style rather than something Joss does because he's Joss.
