Did anyone actually like Beer Bad?

I thought it was great! An original idea, far from the regular "lets fight a nasty demon" routine.
This was one episode I actually like SMG in ::tongue::
 
I personally didn't like it, it seemed pointless to watch, but I suppose that is just me.....*shrugs shoulders*
 
I didn't care for it too much, I thought the idea of the episode wasn't the best and I hated Parker and wished that Buffy would have let him burn...LOL...so maybe thats another reason I didn't like it.
 
parker treated her like crap, I can't believe she fell for him.....poor girl....he was really ugly anyways. And yea I agree.....LET HIM BURN!
 
I saw the humour, but I didn't find it that interesting. The Willow and Parker scenes were really good though.
 
Yea, I have to admit there was some humor (sp?) .....but.....it still wasn't that interesting.....
 
You have to be in the mood to watch Beer Bad, the first time I saw it I thought it was really stupid but hillarious.... other days I'll watch it and turn it off 10 minutes in.... you have got to admit though... the first time you see it... it is kinda funny.
 
Yea, I guess that is true, cause I just watched it earlier today, and didn't really feel the same way as I posted.....so who knows? *shrugs*
 
I'm watching my newly acquired Season Four DVDs right now. Beer Bad remains a highlight for me. Never could understand the hatin'
 
I thought it was really funny, I loved it. I hated Parker so seeing him get clubbed was golden, especially Willow calling him on being a total player. I liked all the Xander stuff too like when he threatened the cave guys with his lighter and when he said "Nothing can defeat the penis!" It was silly funny but still funny, to me anyway. I agree that you have to be in the mood to watch it, there's a Buffy epi for every kind of mood 🙂
 
Ithought that it was a good story line. It gave xander somthing to be, a bar keep. And since bar keeps keep the liqour, it was a perfect way to show that buffy was very upset about parker. She tried to drown him out of her life, when all she really needed was to whack him upside his head with a stick!
 
I loved it! Together with Hush it was one of the best episodes of the season. One of the best ever (on my top something list anyway). I thought it was extremely funny. Xander was being Xander...Which I missed in alot of s4. Xander being Xander.

That episode pretty much left my jaw on the floor. It was humorous to watch Buffy rant about the foaminess of the beer and the tiny people inside the television. But honest, my first thought after watching was that Joss was hung over when he conjured up that eppie. Has anybody read the insert that comes with season fours box set? Joss comments that he's proud of the season with the exception of the one episode. It's pretty obvious which episode he was pertaining to!
 
I enjoyed the episode and thought it was funny, but it definitely wasn't my favourite. I always love the episodes that progress a major part of the seasons storyline, this episode didn't, therefore it wasn't among my favourites.
