I dont know if i'm the only one but i wasn't happy with the series finale of Buffy...At the end where they bring out the "slayer" out of the girls i didnt like it 😕 'because then the whole "one slayer is to be born into every generation" thing it doesnt apply to that rule nemore and it doesnt make it genuine or unique so...i dk but i didnt like it....what about you guys...

well i thought it was ok, yeah i guess it does make buffy being the slayer a little less special but isn't that what she wants? Now she's not the only one and she can go lead a more normal life if she wants. I thought it was a pretty good ending

I didn't much care for the spell to make the Potentials into Slayers either, but the climactic battle scene was pretty cool. Season 5's "The Gift" or even Season 6's "Grave" (with the exception of the epilogue with Spike winning his soul) could've made for a better series finale, IMO.

I liked watching it, but I don't really like the concept of pretty much everyone having slayer power. It just makes me think that all of Buffy was pointless... cause why couldn't the rules just be like that in the first place and then there would be no special slayers and the world wouldn't come so close to the apocalypse as much. hmmm...

It doesn't matter. The rule of one slayer was broken already with Kendra and then Faith anyway. The reason I was disappointed with it was because too many loose ends went unfinished, and questions left unanswered. There's probably a thread around here by nerd4hire that rambles on about every nitpick of the last sesaon.😛

I thought it was great cos buffy all though the years has rebeled in some form or another and she did this in an uber way by changing the whole entire slayer lore
Am i making sense lol??
lol anyway i think it rocked, great way to end the show!!

I thought the season finale was good. If you look back through the whole seven years it kinda came to the right conclusion. All through her slayer life Buffy wanted to be normal and have a normal life but in season three episode Helpless she learns that she can't live without her powers. So the only way for Buffy to be happy is to make other slayers like her. I agrre that it makes Buffy less special but in a way she will always be THE slayer.

Yeah i agree about being THE slayer as she will be pretty famous among the others, she will be the one who changed it all

I thought it was good the last Buffy. I like it how theres more than one slayer that means Buffy can live a normal life and bake and then be Cookies and Angel can eat her cookies and all will be well! 😀

True true. Buffy will always be the most famous among slayers. 🙂 She's still special, but normal too.

LoL, thats funny, but i'll have to agree with fivebyfiveB it did leave abunch of unanswered questions

I have to admit to being left feeling like there was no closure. As FiveByFive said, there were just too many things left unanswered. I want to know what happens to Buffy after, does she go off and live the normal life she's always wanted to now that others have the power that she does? What happens to Willow & her magic, does she continue to control it and not let the magic control her? What about Xander, where does he go? Not to mention everyone else that was there - it was just left too 'mid-air' for me. I have to have closure, a proper ending - but then I guess if they had done that there wouldn't be as much scope as they've got at the moment should they ever decide to bring it back or do a spin-off.

🙁

I like the fact of alot of slayers, cos yeah buffy is really free and for once, Evil can FEAR all the good in the world coz there are soooooooooo many strong girls out there. I'm just sad that amanda, and ANYA died. Anya mostly, she has been a really great character in buffy, but to kill her off, it was a bad way to end her character. 🙁

I thought the finale was amazing and a great way to end it. Although I thought Anyas death was too low key

I didn't like the laste episode because spike and anya died. Plus it's the end of Buffy.

I thought it was a really good way to end the series but it was also really sad. I cried so hard when Spike died. I locked myself in my room and just bawled. But I really liked the series finale.

spikeluver i love your av!! Anyway, i thought that season finale was good although it did leave some things unanswered as cordelia said earlier..i hope they answer some of those questions on angel
