The recent mini series on BBC2 (UK)?

Sorry it's a bit late but recorded the series and only just watched it.

It was pretty good I thought, and seemed like a bit of a Whedon reunion.

Anthony Head from Buffy, Chiwetel Ejiofor from Serenity as Louis Lester the big band leader and John Goodman from Roseanne (part written by Joss) as the business tycoon.

Surely a coincidence but I wonder if they ever discussed working with him.

I watched it - I'm a huge fan of Anthony Head and watch everything he is in. It was also a Merlin reunion of sorts, with Angel Coulby and Anthony in it. I liked the series pretty well. I thought the production values and acting were excellent, the story kind of slow, and some parts of it hard to understand (I still don't understand who locked Louis in the kitchen and called the police, and I've never understood exactly where Donaldson was coming from). It resonated with historical accuracy to me, though I'm not much of an expert.

When I say it was pretty good... It wasn't bad. It could have been better.
