Question Did Buffy come back stronger?

I don't know if this has been a topic for discussion yet.
I was watching "Bargaining" yesterday and I noticed something I hadn't before. Buffy after coming back to life was able to withstand several blows to the head with bats, clubs, fists, and not even get knocked over. She was able to kick one of those hellion demons clean into a trash can. I don't recall her being this strong before. I know she had superhuman strength but I don't recall her being able to take hits to the head without being knocked over or anything. Also, when she helped Xander at the construction site, she lifted one of those beams over her shoulder with no trouble at all. I believe she came back stronger.

I mostly feel like she became stronger mentally!
About lifting things...she lifted a grid in Anne so...But it's clear it seem easier and easier to her!

It's possible, when she was brought back in S1 she said she felt stronger.

I'd forgotten about that. She did say she felt stronger.

Maybe she was. Guess we'll never truly know.

A deviation in Buffy's strength is more likely due to the writers wanting to reach a certain plot point.

Oh, and she did get knocked unconscious by a single blow to the head from one of the Shadow Men in season 7.

I think Buffy's strength varies with the plot and fight coreography and what the writers need her to do.

I actually think you're probably right. There were bound to be things that were altered somehow by her return and I suppose her strength might have been one of them. But often, like others have said, they do often vary Buffy's strength to fit with plots and the fighting.
