Did Buffy ever solve the "little miss muffet" bed-making "little sis coming" 730 riddle?

Do you think she ever looked back in hindsight and thought "Oh THAT'S what that was all about"? 😛
 
Hmm, oh that's a good question. It would be after the monks told her Dawn was made up. She might have gone back and thought differently about those dreams. I don't think the 730 thing occurred to her. I didn't even know until I was told that it is exactly 2 years til her death in the Gift. So I don't think Buffy is one for math, to figure that out. She might have thought back on the bed making scene and thought "huh? interesting". But other than that I don't think Buffy really revisited it. She's usually not one for looking back on the past.

Well it was two different scenes in different seasons 😀 (three if you count the scene in Restless which references it).

But really it was more of a hypothetical question as opposed to what happened on screen. I like to think it randomly popped into her head one day while she was out on patrol, and she realised what it all meant, and just went "Huh". And then got on with her life 😀

I'll bet Buffy worked it out eventually- sort of like 'intuitive slayer knowledge' or something. Sometimes after the end of Season 5 (or maybe during those last moments of the Gift- wouldn't it have been something if the show included those extra foreshadowing flashbacks from Season 3?)

I wonder if Faith did? She the one who started the whole thing and say 'my head, there's a lot of new things' in Graduation Day part 2. Did she sit in her cell and ponder any of that?
 
I have always pondered on that. I would think she would have had one of those random epiphany "Oh!" moments at some point. But it's hard to say.

We see that Faith's memory was affected just like everyone else's when Dawn showed up, so I wonder if she lost all the things she saw in her coma when she woke up.
 
I'm assuming it didn't come up until much later, when she was making a bed. Buffy just smacks her forehead and goes "Oh, so that's what it meant!" Dawn enters, "So that's what what meant?" Buffy responds, "Oh, way back when Faith was telling me about you a full year before you showed up." Dawn squints, confused. Buffy just shrugs and says, "Slayer thing" and goes back to making the bed. 😀
 
It likely wouldn't be very instinctive to think back to this moment since Buffy's whole memory was altered to include Dawn. So I imagine it would be extremely hard to come back to a moment foreshadowing Dawn, because in Buffy's head, Dawn would have already been there. So it would almost be impossible to make the connection, because the connection would already exist in the "post-Dawn world". It's like having a dream after a certain event, usually you don't think anything of it. Whereas if you have a dream and the event happens after, you think darn, I had a premonition, or I'm getting a deja vu, or something. In this case because they rebuilt the past, the premonition is no longer a premonition.

The only way I can see Buffy re-visiting that memory is if she really trains her brain to think of Dawn as being a one year old that didn't exist before. But as we see, even after learning that Dawn isn't real, Buffy still sees her as her 15yo kid sister.
