Did Buffy's Dad know?

This may be a silly obvious question....but did Buffy's dad ever know that she was the Slayer.I mean surely after Joyce found out that she would of mentioned something to Buffy's dad.I'm not saying that there's any real reason for him to know,but seen as one of his girls is The Chosen One who saves the world time&time again....and his other girl was the Key....you'd think he might of picked up on some of this! 🙂
 
I don't know. I should know, but I don't really think he did.. No, changed my mind, I think he did..

Weird, he never actually met Dawn, right..? But he must still remember being her father..
 
I would think that he wouldn't know. Because why would they have told him? He might have thought they there were crazy and you know and locked them hehe. :hihi: I can't see a reason why they would tell him that she was the Slayer or that Dawn was the Key.
 
he didnt know that she was a slayer, she rarely talked to her dad after S3. He didnt know basically anything about Buffys life in Sunnydale. Just like he didnt know how Dawn was the key.
 
Hmm..Maybe.I just find it odd that he never had a clue.I wonder did he ever notice 'anything' peculiar!
 
I think he did. Buffy told us (in season 6) that she told her parents and they locked her up. So odds are he might have when it actually happened and that was his reason for not being around a lot.

Nah I don't think he knew.
No, she told her parents that she saw a vampire. That's why Joyce was so surprised when Buffy told her about her slayer-ness.

I think Mr. Summers (I forgot his name) only knew that he had 2 kids but didn't know about them after Joyce and him divourced. He might have thought Buffy was a little crazy because of her telling them that she saw a vampire. He couldn't have known about Dawn being supernatural becuase Joyce didn't know and none of the main Summers' people talked to the dad. I don't think Joyce told the dad that Buffy was a slayer, it wouldn't have mattered to him, would it?
