Did DB know it was ending?

I have to wonder this because of Kristen's interview with him on www.eonline.com a few weeks ago. He was very bague about wanting to do another season. He even hinted at not wanting to do another season. None of the other people Kristen interviewed mentioned anything of the sort. I have to wonder if it was just coincidence or somethng else. ::crying::
 
I would hope that he had known aheaad of this annoucement but his and the cast's disappointment lead me to beleive otherwise....... ::crying::
 
Before every season ends, David acts like he couldn't care less about whether there's another season. That's just the way he is.

Actors know their shows can be canceled at any time. David's contract was up. Feigned or real interest in other work can be a negotiating tool. Unfortunately the WB would rather dump them all than even face the prospect of negotiation.
 
I thought Joss, David, etc. found out on the 13th like everyone else... i read it somewhere I think..
 
David has said many times that he doesnt really think about if the show will be renewed or anything, he just takes things day by day and doesnt like to think of the future that mucn.
 
Kristen *sighs* She's very good at twisting stuff around to make it seem like there was a different intention then there was. I don't know if it was a word by word interview or interspersed quotes, so I can say for sure, but it seemed to me like everyone found out at the same time.
 
I doubt that David would have known...I mean he's the lead of the show...I'm sure he wanted it to go on.

when i first heard of angel ending, it was from my good friends, that are also dedicated fans, and i didn't know what to think or feel, it shocked me, since i didn't think angel has been on air, as long as it has, anyways... before i heard info online, i thought, it was a poor rating reason to cancel, now i see this thread "did DB know it was ending" i sure as hell hope not ::crying:: as far, as david being the kind of person to sort of shrug things off like nothing, i would think the show would mean something to him(and the rest of the cast), like it does to all of us.
