Did D'Hoffyrn Predict Anya's Death?

Was what D'Hoffyrn said in the end of "Selfless" a clue to Anya's death in "Chosen"?

D'hoffryn- "Oh, I wouldn't worry about that. From beneath you, it devours. Be patient. All good things in time."

I think he did, yes. I can't remember the exact context of what he said exactly, but I remember having a very profound "hmm..." when he said it to Anya. I think he knew she was going to die.

Although, on the flip side, I'm pretty much "from beneath you it devours" got said, like, 30456 times throughout S7. So who knows, maybe he was just going with the flow...

If he could alter time and bring people back from the dead as he did in Selfless, why didn't he bring Anya back? Was he that pissed off with her because she wasn't as a good as a vengeance demon the second time around?

I don't know that D'Hoffryn knew Anya was going to die, because the "From beneath you, it devours" was said so many times in that season that there's no way that everyone who said it was able to predict who would die and who would live. I think he just knew that a lot of them would die in the final fight, but not Anya specifically.
Great question, though! I never thought of that before.

Well she became mortal again in this episode, right? He knew she would die eventually.

Isn't "from beneath you, it devours" just a hint at the Hellmouth and that it's about to open. I'd say D'Hoffryn is powerful enough to feel that something is going to happen, and the way I understand it he was talking to all of the Scoobies. I don't remember everything to well, because I haven't watched season 7 in a while, but I figured he meant that everyone is going to die, anyway.
