Did Emma want to leave?

I have heard that Emma wanted to leave the show if it had continued! Was this true? And why did she want to leave? Also, is that why Joss killed her? Just curious. I am new to all this Buffy fandom. Thanks 🙂

Yeah, she stated early on in the season that she intended to leave the show and didn't want to take part in any future spin-offs or anything. Which, really, robbed most of the suprise out of her death in Chosen, at least from where I was sitting.
