Did Faith have a last name?

I don't remember anyone saying Faith Smith. Faith Brown? Faith Jones.....Did she have a last name? I saw that this board's title is simple "Faith" - no last name. Anyone know?
 
No last name was given to Faith in either show.

I know someone who insists it must be 'Winters', for the whole Buffy Summers, Faith Winters dynamic. That's a little corny if you ask me though, and it is just one warped persons opinon and isn't Buffverse canon in the least.
 
i don't think they ever said her full name in either buffy or angel.. she always been called only by faith..

Hehee. I kinda like that. Ahem. I wonder why she was never given a last name.....Oh well. I was curious...Thanks!
 
I think it adds to the mysetery of her character, that she had no last name...
Because if you think about it, we know very little about Faith's life pre-Sunnydale...
 
I don't know what her maiden's name is, but I'm sure that if we give it another year or so, her last name will be Wood.

Why because she was randomly tossed together with him one night due to the fact that he was the only single male character available at the time who wasn't 20+ years her senior (Giles) or gay (Andrew) or boffing Anya (Xander)?

Nah.

That "relationship" wouldn't have lasted. The suggested Faith spinoff had her riding around on a Harley on her own fighting evil... so Wood got ditched. Beyond that, she's a wanted felon, I don't think she's going to be doing any marrying or name changing of the legal variety in the near future.

yeah i think you're right part of the inicial appeal of faith was that she was a mistirius type of girl.. noone really knows mutch about her..
i agree with you Happy, she was probably put with wood becase we realy didn't ever seen her in a realationship (xander thing soesen't count..) so the writers probably tried to pass the message that faith could be with a nice/normal/caring guy... errrr he reminds of riley..witch i didn't like at all.. ::nono::
 
Exactly why I think it would in fact last... I have this friend, she has been boyfriend hopping (or should I say f-word buddy hopping) for the past four years, nearly every week somebody else. The one even more extreme then the other. Untill she meets this one guy, and he's like common in every way, he's completly ordinary... and yet she's been seeing him for nearly a year, they live together now and she has pretty much done a 180.
 
So because they just randomly threw Faith with the only character they had left in the stables you think it'll work? Boy, don't ever try and play matchmaker 🙂 .
 
i think that faith and wood have litlle in common (or maybe nohing) but i don't see faith in a log term thing w/ him.. i didn't see any tension or quenistry between them untill the "touched" thing..so i guess it just happened because he was just there whe she needed it.. it could have been the same way spike or andrew (wouldn't that be funny a Fadrew LOL😛).. i saw it just like the xander thing..one nigth only..i just thing she would eventually get bored w/ him like riley/buffy.. i think even Spike would been bether w/ her.. i/ not proud as a Spuffy to say that i enjoyed way to mutch the basement scene.. ???
But anyway were getting off topic,if anyone wants to discuss the wood/faith think just make a thread 😀 :: tu :: i have opinions i liked to share in that..
 
There was a thread about it a couple of months ago😛...no one knows her last name🙁.
Just try to stick on topic,or this thread will be closed...anyway,I don't think you have a lot of stuff to discuss,her last name was never mentioned...


EDIT: If you want discuss Faith/Wood relationship don't do it here because this is not the right place to do it.
Feel free to open a new thead about it.
