Did Faith Know?

Do you think that anyone told Faith when Buffy died at the end of Season 6?

I could more easily imagine Angel telling her than Giles, Willow, or Xander, but, considering the fact that Buffy's death was covered up, they might all have considered it something that she simply didn't need to know.

If anyone had told Faith then it definitely would've been Angel, and I like to think that he did tell her. That he confided in her and they shared a moment together.
I imagine that he would've gone and visited to say that he wouldn't be around and coming to see her for a while. Then he might've told Faith why.

In-verse? I have no clue but I actually don't think so. Faith seems to have been kept in the dark about a lot of things that happened those last two years. Does she know about Dawn being the Key or does she think she's 'real'? What about Willow going dark?
Some of these are answered in the comics but some aren't.

Yeah I don't think she knew. I don't think she was necessarily intentionally kept in the dark so much as it being a case of "out of sight, out of mind" ... Angel obviously went off to mourn for a while (I doubt his knee-jerk reaction was to run to prison to tell Faith) and after... I don't know, just seems like he was busy with Darla, becoming a dad, losing his son and Cordy-stuff... I always felt like the Faith visits were less of a priority during the period just because so much was going on.

I don't think Faith knew, Angel would have the one to tell her I agree. However Angel disappeared and then not long after he came back Buffy was brought back.

I don't think she knew either. It would have been nice to watch a scene of Angel telling Faith, much like Willow telling Angel.

It might have ruined the storyline though because maybe Faith would have felt obliged to break out of prison then rather than to help Angel. She was the only Slayer at that time (that we know of) so it would have been left to her to fight demons.

I think that she knew about Buffy's resurrection and death, since that happened before Darla got pregnant (something that she didn't know about until she broke out of jail as Angel was too busy to visit by then).

I don't think Faith was aware of anything that happened on either show from the Darla incident all the way until she broke out of prison. She thought Dawn was a real person, addressing her as if they were old frenemies ("Brat's all woman-sized"). Like @Jules said, Faith would have felt obligated to break out of prison if she found out she was the only Slayer. It had to be kept a secret.

I don't think she did. Wes had to fill her in about connor after telling her about Angelus. I don't think anyone told her about buffy or she would have busted out sooner.

My impression was that, upon hearing about Buffy's death, Angel just packed up and left for the monastery where we first saw him at the beginning of his Season 4. I don't think that he visited Faith or even stopped by Sunnydale before taking off. At least, I would like to believe that he didn't go by Sunnydale, because if he did, I seriously doubt that he would have trusted Spike to help the gang out all summer, and, since I'm pretty sure that he wouldn't want Faith breaking out of jail, he should have felt honor bound to do the job himself.

I also always got the impression that no one filled her in. Dam, now I want a scene of Buffy and Faith having a heart to heart and talking about it. I'd be curious if Faith had a haunch, or felt something, considering they were shown to share dreams and such, although those were few and far in between on the show.

Most likely Faith did not know. It's possible that after Angel found out Buffy was alive again, he might have explained it all to Faith. But it's a small window cause Darla shows up. If Buffy hadn't been resurrected, then when would have Angel told Faith Buffy had died? I think the Scoobies (Willow) knew Buffy as going to come back and didn't see a need to tell Faith. Giles probably just didn't think about it, or figured Angel would have. Wesley Probably doesn't care.

I think that Faith probably felt something, maybe not specifically that Buffy had died, but more like just the sense that something was wrong. Assuming that Angel didn't bother to tell her, (understandable, if he was as upset as he most likely was) I doubt that Wes or Cordy would have, and Giles and the others in Sunnydale were working so hard to conceal Buffy's death that they would never have mentioned it. If she ever got any direct word at all, my guess is that it would have been more like a, "Buffy's back. No, she didn't move away from town. Oh, nobody told you that she died? Well, no matter, she's all better now..." sort of thing.
