Did "I'll Never Tell" foreshadow anything in Hells Bells?

I'm watching the musical, and I was wondering can anybody see any foreshadowing of Hells Bells in "I'll Never Tell"?

Definintely. Both of them had insecurities; that was played out as they sang through the song. Some of the insecurities Xander sang about even "came true" in the vision the demon presented him in "Hell's Bells". Xander worried in "I'll Never Tell" that he was "marrying a demon", and it turned out his children were less than human... I think the song definitely foreshadows that they weren't going to live happily ever after.

Heck yes. Although the implication of the half-demon daughter is that Anya cheated on him, not that she was the result of Xander and Anya's DNA.

"Hell's Bells" is pretty heavily foreshadowed throughout Seasons 5 and 6.

I agree with the above posts. Xander and Anya's relationship had problems well before Hell's Bells, and the song in OMWF brought to light many of their insecurities.

For sure, there were lot's of indications that they had some flaws, but they biggest thing is when Anya says (or more, sings) "I've read this tale, there's wedding then betrayal"
Even though they never really got married, that line kinda sums it up. Still a pretty sad moment though.

So yes you can watch OMWF or even All the way the Holloween ep right before it and could predict the future just on thoses two eps

I also agree that it did, but I'm disappointed it did. I really think two people can make it if they want it bad enough, and willingly giving up is sad. At least he followed his gut, though.
