I was just thinking does anyone think Jasmine somone nudge events in a particular way in order to ensure cordy and angel would fall in love so eventually the groosalogg would leave, as it is unlikely that Groo would have just sat back and let connor take his girl in series 4, which Jasmine couldn't allow because she needed Cordy and connor to make love in order to be concieved? I think this could be the case but i hate the idea that cordy and angel weren't really in love because i thought they where well suited

I actually think Angel & Cordy being in loved caused Jasmine more troubles than if they didn't.
It may have made Angel fight harder to defeat the being that basically killed the woman he loved.
Also, I don't think it's possible to make anyone fall in love with you. In Bewitched, Bothered & Bewildered, those women weren't in love, they were obsessed. There's a big difference. I think Angel & Cordy's love was true and that was definitely demonstrated in "You're Welcome".

No I don't think that had anything to do with Jasmine. It's not like Angel really let Connor steal Cordelia either but that kind of happened anyway.. I really believe they were in love for real.

Angel and Cordy where already in love.
I think Groo left because he knew that Cordy didn't love him, he was just a replacement for who she really wanted.
It just made their relationship more complicated with Cordy and Connor doing something that shouldn't have happened. Then Jasmine showing up not long after.
