Did Snyder know about Buffy?

ok.Snyder gettin eaten had nothig to do about him knowing about Buffy!!!! yer i think he did know about Buffy and the reason why he was mean to Buffy is because he's sexist and he hates that a girl is stronger than him!!!!!

i don't think that he knew buffy was the slayer really, but he did know that she was involved somehow w/ the strange things that happened in Sunnydale, becuase everyone know because they gave her that umbrella award thing at Prom. Also was he working w/ the Mayor before the accension? because when the mayor turned into a giant snake he didn't really seem to surprised....
 
Bit late, but I may as well throw in my two cents...

I think he knew. His obvious ties with the Mayor certainly give us a clue as to his level of understanding, and it was clear that he was aware of the dangers of the Hellmouth. There was also his quite sadistic pleasure in getting rid of all of Giles' books in Gingerbread, despite clearly knowing that they weren't being used for an evil purpose.

Truly, though, I guess we'll never know.
 
I think he knew Buffy was a slayer. I agree the "I know your up to something " look did kinda give us hints. And the "good news" he delivered to the mayor was a huge clue. Some one said earlier
the if Snyder knew she was a slayer he would've cut her some slack but I think it was in Snyders nature to give everyone a really tough time. But we will never know if he knew or didn't.
I agree with most of you out there that Snyder was a mean and stupid little guy who deserved to be eaten.🙂
