Did they dumb down Faith's arc from Angel Season 4 in Season 7?

In Angel Season 4, Faith seriously had one of the most amazing set of episodes with her redemption and saving the world from Angelus and The Beast.

And then she's underused in her final episodes on Buffy. She's hardly shown.

Faith was always given better respect and attention over on Angel, the main chunk of her arc happened on that show, whereas Buffy dealt with the before and after parts of her arc.
So while yes they did underuse Faith in season 7 it sort of made sense because Faith always has to be the #2 slayer in Buffy's show otherwise the show wouldn't be about Buffy anymore, it would be about Faith.Shame they didn't remember that when they made the show all about Spike in season 7 😉 It really says it all when Wesley introduces Faith as "Faith the vampire slayer", she was never given that title over on Buffy, even before she went evil.
