Did Vamp Willow in Doppelgangland have a... Doppel?

Hey folks...

I posted this in the Doppelgangland discussion thread, but it seems hardly anybody visits that one lately, so I thought I'd ask here, if you don't mind?

In that episode, one thing I always wondered - the first time, in the library - where Vamp Willow grabs regular Willow from behind, it doesn't quite look like her, but looks like a lookalike actress. The rest of the scenes with them together look like Alyson as both, but that 1st one doesn't.

Anyone notice that?

I'd say it was definitely her, but green screened.

They're both her. It's cleverly disguised though. The hand is not hers. The face is hers.

There's been a pic once (I can't find it anymore, been at least two years that I last saw it) that showed Aly in an off-camera break between shots with three or four stand-ins in Vamp!Willow makeup, but I'm quite sure that those were just stunt and lighting doubles and none of them ended up on screen with their faces clearly seen... so I agree with [MENTION=11317]Cast No Shadow[/MENTION] that it was Aly, "spining" in front of a greenscreen.

Btw, I think there's another shot that makes me wonder much more if it's Aly playing it.

I've always thought regular (non-Vamp) Willow's face looks odd in that scene. Still, I'm convinced that this, too, is Aly greenscreened... it just looks weird to me. 🙂
