Well we know that in Becoming pt.2 Willow sends Xander out to find Buffy to tell her that she will be performing the spell to reinsoul Angel, but Xanders hatred for Angel makes him not tell Buffy but instead tell her that Willow said to "Kick his ass"(something like that)

Now if Buffy had known then things probably wouldve turned out a little differently. SO was Xander right to not give Buffy willows message?
 
I don't think that Xander made the right decision personally. Just because it must have been really hard for Buffy to kill Angel and not Angelus. I felt really bad for her when she had to kill him and then Willow's hard work was just pretty much for nothing. But that's just my opinion.
 
Perhaps he did, think only about himself, and his hatred for Angel, and really, I never liked Xander. But I've thought about this, when Buffy and Angel were fighting in becoming part1, Angel knew that her heart wasnt in it, and we knew thast she was waiting for Willow's spell to work. At the end of Becoming p2, If Buffy hadn't put her all into it, Angel would have killed her, and he would have let Acathla out. The only thing that would have changed if Buffy knew, is she would have tried to stall him. He would have tried that much harder, if he knew why she was stalling. And it would have probabally been twice as traumatic on her if she beat him back, still had to kill, and was fighting for that chance that will could change him bac, Before he actually changed. So for as much as I hate Xander, I think that he, whether unwittingly or not, made the right choice. It ultimately saved Buffy
 
Xander didn't do it because of hatred towards Angel. If Buffy had known about the spell, she may not have been able to stop him. In the end, it was too late anyway. Xander is not that selfish. He did it for her.
 
I don't think Xander made the right move....maybe telling Buffy Willow was trying the spell again wouldn't have changed how things turned out, but as one of her best friends, he should have been honest with her.
 
Yep,as her TRUE friend he should have told her the truth.Friendship is bout trust and could Buffy really trust Xander???
 
I dont support his decision, I think he was selfish.
But...I do like the way everything's turned out, so I guess Im happy Buffy did what she did because of Xander.
 
I think he did the right thing, because, anyway it went, her spell would have worked to late and she would have had to kill him anyway.
 
honestly I don't think it's always about truth, sometimes you have to hold things back in order to protect someone, buffy could have been told later, but that information would have put buffy at risk
 
Sometimes yes,but I don't think it was the case.Buffy is the Slayer,Xander just helps her-he should have told her that way she'd have known the whole situation...
