Still, in spite of his hatred for Angel, I don't think Xander would do something to betray Buffy. He's always been there for her and that was saving her from her emotions...
 
I dont think Xander made the right descion he was only thinking about himself and what he *thought* was best for Buffy. I dont think inside he realised how much Buffy loved Angel and how hard it would be to kill him.
 
Well, once again Blake said it best. I really like your way of thinking Blake. 😉 I agree 100% with everything he has said. I don't blame Xander at all on that one. At first I thought what a jackass but after watching the whole episode I saw how his decision helped. But yeah, Blake's got it exactly! 🙂
 
His intentions were wrong, but ultimatly it was a good thing he said what he did. If he had told her, then she would have held back, not wanting to kill him. Holding back would have most likely gotten her killed.
 
I think Xander was wrong..he should have told Buffy the truth,...she should have decided what to do with Angel(us)
 
Back on topic: Although I think Xander made a mistake back then,Buffy somehow forgave him and trust him...
 
I think he did because if he hadnt then Buffy might not have fought as hard, and also Angelus would have awakened Acathla anyways and Buffy would have had to kill him so it wouldnt have made much of a difference.
 
No, he didn't... Now I love Xander, but he was being a jerk as always when it comes to Angel. Whatever bad thing Willow said about him on the phone with Buffy when they found Jenny's cure for Angel, I second that... thing is, Buffy could've found a way to keep him for pulling that sword out, keep him distracted so Willow could ensoul him.

In a way though, I'm kinda glad they did have him pull that sword out because it made the episode so emotionally heartbreaking. But, Xander was in the wrong there.
 
This is SO freggin' cool...I love that it's neck and neck...don't see that much in polls on the boards. This is getting interesting...
 
he was wrong,as AngelsGirl said Buffy could have found a way to distracted Angelus,...I love Xander,but at that moment I hated him too much,I was sooo angry with him,..he acted like selfish jealous jerk!

the same happened with me,..but anwyay,he was really wrong,..poor Angel!
