Did ya like it??

Yeah, not much makes me go *gasp* "What the...Oh my...holy..." so season 6 was a welcome change. I love it when things get down and dirty! I love seeing the character be put to the test and really display their weaknesses. It makes them so much more real and human to me. That's part of way I get upset when people say that Spike took over season 6. Everythig he was in was about Buffy. He was just symolic of something Buffy was going through. I didn't think it was about him at all. But there wasn't one episode in that season that didn't just blow me away. It was daring and absolutely REAL to the human condition.
 
Rayne I totally agree with that, I think season 6 was the most real of any season. It put everyone at the lowest they could get and they had to pull their way out of it. Also I love Spike, he didn't really get that much screentime in season 6 though anyway, someone added it up once and most of the other characters had more. The biggest storyline of the season though I think was Willow, with Tara and the magic stuff. The Buffy stuff was about depression and making it through life when it all seems too hard.

I think you have to admit though, I did miss some of the occasional humour Buffy has to have.
 
I did enjoy season 6 but I thought it was hit or miss as opposed to being consistently great. I liked the first two episodes and there were two killer four episode runs(Once More With Feeling, Tabula Rasa, Smashed, and Wrecked; and then the last four, Seeing Red, Villains, Two to Go, and Grave) but there were also more eps that I didn't like than the earlier seasons. Willow going all evil super-witchy was awesome. Alyson is just soooo good at being bad. I hated losing Tara(not just because I liked the character but because I liked seeing Amber Benson's face on my TV every week) but I think Joss really delivered with the last three episodes so I forgave him.
 
I enjoyed season 6, outside of Doublemeat Palace. I didn't really like season 5.

i really like the eps i've seen.. i think their okay.. i eventhink double meat palace is okay... love the outfits 😉 LOL
 
Yea I liked s6 a lot. I no a lot of people bash it b/c of the darkness of it, but I thought it was great. I'm a spuffy fan so i guess that had something to do with me liking it so much since they were FINALLY 2gether. I didn't like the last 5 or so episodes though. Evil Willow=so scary lol Tara dying=totally depressing(she was great!) Spike attempted rape= horrible, don't even wanna talk about it. But all together s6 was good
 
I liked season 6. It definatly was about change, about doing things you've never done before. I wouldn't say it was my favorite seasons but it is in my top 3.
