since s6 is one of the seasons that most ppl didnt like because of the change of tone i thought id stand up for it!!
i liked it a lot and was a key season which showed the maturing of the characters

Im really more of an early season fan, so, like you say, Season 6 was all about change. I was never a real fan watching it, but now I think about it, I really wanna watch it again.
I think the show lost some of the humor in season 6, and thats what people missed, especially me. But at the same time, it added drama, which was good, and lets not all forget Darth Rosenberg now! lol!

I liked this season mainly because of evil willow! I thought it was so cool! Didn't like losing Tara though but i suppose Willow would never have turned if it hadn't been for that! ::cd::

But i liked the season, it's season 7, or what i've seen of it, that i didn't like! 🙁 Wasn't a big fan of season 5 either! Didn't like them bringing in Dawn as Buffy's sister/key!

I loved season six... perhaps not everything they did (Xander and Anya's so called wedding debacle, grrr!) but on the whole, I thought it was great. There was a lot of humour, but at the same time, it was vey dark. and are we forgetting that season six had once more, with feeling???

I love season 6 even more rewatching it than I did the first time around, maybe because all that darkness is easier to take in small doses! it had great episodes, my faves were OMWF, Seeing Red, Villains, Two to Go, Grave, Afterlife, Smashed, Wrecked, Bargaining and All the Way. Out of the 3 last seasons, season 5 was my favorite, and I can't decide if I love 6 or 7 more but probably 7
