Did you guess Tara was a lesbian?

I kind of cheated actually, one of the first BTVS scenes I saw was the tail end of when Willow and Tara get back together (prior to her shooting in Seeing Red). So I knew from the start that they were an item. 😉

Watching the series for the first time from the beginning, I'm not sure I would have seen it coming until Hush.

I knew before I started watching that they would get together. That was one of the reasons I started watching from the whole series from the beginning - I saw the ep where tara said "I am you know. yours" and thought they seemed so cute together.
 
honestly I thought it was glaringly obvious, I was really shocked when I heard that people had been surprised by it. 😀

yeah, people even sent angry letters after NMR and Joss was like "Uhhhh, you guys are slow"(that was summing up what he really said)
On Tara's side of the fence it was obvious she was into Willow, how she's amazed by her, complimenting her etc. But I had no idea Willow will become a lesbian as well. In the begining it seemed to me like they're good friends with Tara feeling something for Willow, she was even a fan of hers. But because Willow used to date guys (not that many though I guess lol) so I didn't suspect she would become a girl lover. I was used to the fact she as feelings for guys. She had strong feelings toward Xander, she had a romance with that robot demon guy, dated Oz.... How could I know she was a lesbian by then?? But again, Tara's love for Willow was way more obvious than Willow's. I'm not even sure Willow knew at first that she was in love with Tara.
 
I did know Tara was a lesbian. Her love for Willow was quite obvious. I felt it in Hush when they moved that vending machine... but as time went on, I knew. I thought it was REALLY obvious. This is the first I'm hearing of people not knowing and I'm shocked. It was/is so obvious.

Anyways, I think there were hints before she arrived, Like when they were walking down the halls and you see peeps posting up the big Lesbian alliance banner up. Then suddenly we see Tara and I'm like, yup, she's totally gay.

I knew it from the second I saw her! just by the first look she gave to Willow. I still wasn't sure, I thought it was too good to be true, but by the moment they were holding hands and doing magics at the end of Hush.... ..totally gay! lol
 
When she rejected my advances I knew she was a massive lesbian, there is no other explanation for this unusual behaviour.
 
I was oblivious. I'll admit it, but I was 13 so I'm using that as my excuse. Now, I'd see it a mile away and I do when I watch it. I probably realized it when Oz said it to be honest. :lol:

I was an innocent 13 year old. Buffy was the first "real" tv series I started watching because I had pretty strict parents who kept me away from non kids television until I was about 11 or 12 (I started watching Buffy at the end of season 2). :lol:
 
I knew right away that she and Willow would be more than friends, sometimes it's just obvious from the start, like in Mulholland Drive. When they moved the soda machine together, their hands, it was a lot so I had a feeling about it and then their last scene in Hush.. yeah I knew.

I thought she was evil or a demon at first! Weird, but some of the things she said in the beginning (telling Willow she was powerful, etc.) were a bit cryptic. And then when Tara intentionally messed up the "find demons" spell, I was like whaaa? Oh, I miss the most obvious things. Seems like everyone else caught on to the lesbian vibe immediately, lol.
 
I knew before I watched the show because I heard the musical before anything else, but I am sure I would have know from the thing in hush, the moving the vending machine... the "No, you are" it was definitely obvious she digged her, not just trying to be friendly... it was sweet 🙂 You could even tell Willow had the look in her eyes too even before she knew it
