In the scenes with Willow and The First Evil in UC Sunnydale library, did you knew it wasn't Cassie/Tara back in 2002?

Or were you shocked when you found out it was The First? imo I kinda knew or at least suspected it wasn't Cassie/Tara speaking to Willow because why would Cassie's ghost haunt UC Sunnydale and give Willow a message from Tara.

Cassie didn't even know Tara

Not at the beginning. As a fan, I really wanted to believe that it was Cassie, and Tara through her. But I think there was this nagging feeling that things weren't as they should be. It was very, very well done, especially because the guy that Buffy talked to, Holden Webster I think, was a real vampire.

No, I thought it was real. I realized she wasn't who she said she was when she told Willow to kill herself...I was about 11 when I saw it and I remember thinking, "Why would the spirit of a good person tell Willow to end her life?" I felt really bad for Willow 🙁 although I do wish that Amber had agreed to play that role. Holy crap I get chills when I think about how Willow would have reacted to seeing her. Oh man. It would have been horribly cruel, but really awesome at the same time.

I didn'tthink it was Cassie/Tara after a few seconds. The conversation takes very odd turns that Tara would never say to Willow. I won't claim that I knew exactly what was going on but I knew it wasn't 'real'.

Not right away but obviously as the scene played out, even before The First revealed itself, I knew it wasn't either of them.
