I am NOT a Connor fan! I found him really annoying and always complaining about the same thing over and over agian. When I purchased Season 4 and watched it again, for some reason he didn't annoy me as much. Tell me, what do you think of him. Why do you like him or why don't you like him.

Do tell the truth, I didn't used to like Connor that much. But after I bought season 4 and saw it again, he was sorta okay. I just hate the whole Connor/Cordy thing. I mean Connor grew up in a hell dimension so I guess that's why I cut him some slack.

Honestly, I really don't like Connor at all. Never hated a character like I've hated him. But I guess he might be a bit like Dawn, when you see them for the second or third time, they might not me exactly as annoying? To me, Connor was almost as annoying the second time as the first though.

i never hated connor, i always thought he got a bad rep from the fans. i actually quite liked connor, even during S4 (except the whole thing with cordy, but the less said about the the happier i'll be.)
he was an interesting character and i thought that the writing team created a great character in making connor act the way he did. it would have been boring if he and angel just clicked and became a happy family.
i liked how they brought connor back in S5. those are def my fave connor moments, especially when he came back to help angel at the end of NFA.
personally, i realy liked connor.
but then, that's just me.

You've a point he was an interesting character going evil suited him
I guess I don't hate Connor, but I don't like him. He always kind of annoyed me. And the whole Connor/Jasmine-Cordy relatioship really grossed me out.

Ummm well at first i didn't like him cause he was taking things out on angel far to much then i started to really like his character, and in season 5 i loved it... even though he wasnt shown as much but he grew thanks to angel's decision to let him go... Now i'm a major connor fan...

As a person i would have really disliked Connor. If i'd had to deal with him in real life he would have totally got on my nerves in a BIG way! His constant whining and feeling sorry for himself is something that i cannot abide in people.

However, as a television show character i actually enjoyed him! I understood the reason he was there, by which i mean the role he was given to play in the story of Angel, and because of that i thought he was essential to the show. I do get why people took a dislike to him but i think it's important to seperate what you dislike about people in real life and what you dislike about television characters. As long as the role they play advances the plotline then i have no issue with an annoying character in a series.

The only time I liked Connor was when he reappeared in season 5. Not that I ever really hated him, but he just seemed too petulent and immature. I get that he grew up in a demon dimension and that he partly blamed Angel for that. And it also caused him to not fully understand this world, but you would think it would've also made him mature beyond his years and tough. But he never seemed to really know where he stood where Angel was concerned, with things constantly turning him against Angel only to be won over again and again. Angel, mostly, only showed him love and tried to relate to him but he never truly accepted that and I found that constantly annoying.

I have to agree, altho Connor did eventually grow on me.
I did not like him throughout most of his time on the show. Connor always bothered me, because of his twisted life. But, as others have said, he was likeable on season five. It must've been because he wasn't so tormented anymore that I started to like him. He's not my favorite character, but in season five he was allright.

I'm like Gunnlover, when Connor first came back from Quor-Toth, I hated him, he was SO annoying! I kept wanting to yell at the TV, "grow up already! So, you had tough breaks, GET OVER IT!" Angel and Co. tried to show him what the real deal was and he constantly rejected them, their help, their love, their support....and then had the audacity to complain that he wasn't getting any love, support, truth, etc! I wanted to smack him in the back of the head for being stupid! I've since watched s5 many times and Connor's kinda grown on me. The whole Connor/Cordy thing was skeevy, but other than that, the kid's allright. I liked him in s5, tho. I think, when he got his memories back, he recognized the sacrifice Angel made for him and really appreciated it.

Yeah, when he got his memories back he dealt with it like an adult not a petulant brat.
I actually liked Connor from the get-go.

This is also coming from somebody who adored Dawn, so...

I thought his character was integral and added some great layers to the show. I mean, yea, okay, he was a bit whiny, but his situation, who wouldn't be? He got handed a sh-t load and he had a hard time dealing with it. I really ended up feeling sorry for him, and sad that Angel had to do what he did. There really wasn't any way around it.

So, yea, I liked Connor. A lot. Bite me.

No I didn't like Connor. From the moment he joined the show, I knew he was going to get on my nerves. I just couldn't understand why he was there (apart from the obvious). He was annoying and bratty, however, owards the end, he was OK but for the most part, I really didn't like him.

I didn't like him either. no offence to Vincent Kartheiser fans (or him if he happens to be reading this) but I didn't think he played it as well as the character should have been, in my opinion. I thought he'd be cooler. He was ok in season 5 but I think it was a missed opportunity to have a really great character.

I loved Connor. Not necessarily as a person, but more the way he brought another humanizing layer to Angels personality. I found his overwhelming love and care for the child and his later attempts to reconnect with his son very touching and intriguing. In his dialogues with Connor like e.g. in A New World, Home, Deep Down Angel displays so much emotion, it's unusual for our stoic vampire.

Connor himself was a very sad and confused character. I think deep inside Connor wanted to love and trust Angel. I think they were deeply connected despite all that happened. You can see that bond between father and son in Benediction. Then things get screwed up by Holtz again.

During Angels *vacation* beneath the sea, Connor partially bonded with Fred and Gunn and again experienced through those two that Angel wasn't the bad guy he was brought up to believe he was. After he was abandoned from the hotel he was searching for a connection, for somebody to trust and Cordelia gave him just that.

PossessedCordy then tried to destroy every step father and son took towards each other, she played them against each other, perfectly playing on Connors fears and on Angels love for her. But even then Connor hesitated to kill Angelus when she asked him to. He also questioned possessedCordy when she tried to make him think Angel hated him, after they fled from the hotel.

After Jasmine was *born* he had what he ever wanted, a family, a father, a home. When this *illusion* was destroyed, he simply snapped ... it was just one lie too much. In Home he assures Angel that he believes that Angel loved him but that he didn't hold on long enough to save him. Through all the lies and manipulations he was at least partially able to see what Angel felt for him.

I think his character development could have been handled a lot better, especially in S4, but still, I like that character.

I really, really didn't like Connor. He annoyed the hell out of me which I thought was a shame as I was really looking forward to the storyline.

He was just so angst ridden! I did however like him a lot when he came back in Season 5!
