Did You Like Evil Willow?

Evil Willow rocked. We got willowy goodness with a baddass edge. I liked it when she said "Abracadabra boys" before shooting Andrew and the other guy with her magic. The best villians are the ones that deliver the best one liners before attacking and I just dug her style although she became a little one-dimensional as the evil consumed her...

Actually, could have lived without the veins but the rest was one hot package. It's a pity that they didn't keep the hair as a permanent after effect of her transformation.

My sentiments exactly.

I found her character very tasteful. But Vamp Willow = HOT!

Vamp Willow > Evil Willow

I can't say I liked her in a "come over for dinner" way.
But, I LOVED the effects. I LOVED how horribly creepy and terrifying she became.
Then again, I've never liked it when people get "type cast" and I felt like Alyson Hannigan was always being cast as this fruity dork character. And it was WONDERFUL to see her not just kind of grow out of it but be thrown into the whole other side of the spectrum.

Then again, the first time I saw Tara get shot (and maybe every time since) I've kind of felt like the shock and anger might be ruining MY hair and eye color too.

I watched Seeing Red last week (going through the entire series again) and even though I knew what was gonna happen, I was still so angry and upset.. I cried a little then I went a little crazy, but nowhere near as crazy as Willow (thank god)
But Dark Willow was a refreshing change for Aly's character. Like Dlou said, she was stereo-d as a geek and I think it not only showed how much she loved Tara but it also showed there's that sense of darkness and power in everyone, with the right (or wrong) motivation.
I LOVED her hair, it was just "oh aye" ;] and even though you should lose sympathy for her after she kills Warren, by the end of Grave, you know you feel soooo bad for Willow. She was out of her mind with grief.
I got sidetracked, sorry...
there are so many things about Dark Willow that I just love, but I'll sum it up for ya

Dark Willow = goodness =]

She's so hot as dark willow. And I love my 6" dark witch willow figure. I want them to make a 12" of it and I cannot wait for the electric tiki dark willow to come out.

Yes I loved the evil Willow. Whoever made those episodes when Willow turned evil, are serious geniuses. Amazing stuff there, it was fab because we got to see the other side of Willow apart from the sweet, innocent side of her.

Eh, I didn't really like her as Evil Willow. The storyline was excellent with her getting addicted to magic and it taking over, but I just didn't liker her as much as the other villains. I think they should have maybe made her a side "baddie" and had something/someone else be the season villain. Willow could of been a big distraction while trying to fight the "season 6 villain".

I liked Evil Willow for several reasons. She, along with Once More With Feeling, really salvaged this season. She was cool, super-powerful, and she had a good, complex backstory (Not like the Trio, whose motivation was "Defeat the Slayer, get rich, take over Sunnydale and chicks, chicks, chicks") She also ended the season with an apocalypse, which is how it should be.

I really liked Dark Willow. She was what Season 6 was all about: facing your inner demons. All of the scoobs had to face the evil inside them. It made them stronger. It made them adults. It prepared them for the First Evil.

In a season that's all about the darkness within, it is fitting that the danger should come from within the core group and that it should come from the "nicest" or "sunniest" -- basically, the least likely -- member of that group. And like someone else said, there is a kind of poetry to the idea that Willow began the season by pulling Buffy out of the grave and ended by trying to put her in it.

Well, I don't really know if I should say that I liked her. I was rather thinking, how sad that Willow couldn't control herself when she started to get into magic because it would have been very usefuk for the gaan and she could have become a really powerful and good witch. I felt sorry that she used magic to do evil things.
