I've never skipped the fight scenes. Although, it's pretty obvious that it's stunt people fighting unless it's close up and then we see SMG face or David Boreanaz. Something like that.
I hear that. Its understandable they use stunt doubles for some of the more gymnastic fightscenes, but it can take you out of the scene
I've never skipped any of the action scenes in Buffy, but I might just tune out until its over. I prefer it when they build up to a big confrontation rather then just dropping us into a random fight scene with some Rogue Vampires because at least the showdowns engage your emotions. The rogue vampire/demon slayings whilst amusing just lack any sort of tension or emotional impact.
No way. I quite enjoy the fight scenes. Some of the moves are pretty slick. But I do turn down the volume 'cause it's usually quite loud compared to the dialogue.
I don't think I've ever skipped any scenes. I love the fight scenes and usually sit there going "Sarah ... stunt double ... Sarah ... stunt double" in my head as they fight.
I love the fight scenes. I wish there were more of them. Mostly of Angel and Angelus kicking ass in early Buffy.
The only scenes i've ever skipped were the ones where Willow murders the deer and in "I Robot, you Jane" when some dude get's hung (can't remember if that's how he was killed because I found the scene so messed up i've never watched it again xD)
