Did you want the show to end after season 7?

There are many reasons why the show had to end after season 7. Like jump out while it's still on top, so that the fall wouldn't be so painful. Many people are glad that the show didn't go on after its last season, and that was before the comics. So I wanted to know if you're one of those people, or would you have given the show a few more years before it sets? Please explain why.
 
I think it was probably better for the show to go out at season 7. The show was already experiencing a slippery slope, and if it would've been worse, that probably would be too much to handle. I love season 7 though, despite its flaws. I think it was a good way to go out, even if it wasn't all that I wanted it to be.
 
Before I feel in love with the comics, I was very disapointed the show ended because SMG didn't want to do it anymore.

I was very excited throughout season 7 and didn't want it to end. Why? Because it is a brilliant show. And while I don't rewatch season 7 a lot, it was a good season. Even if someone had told me the next season would be twice as depressing as season 6, my least favorite season, I would still watch it. Because even when it was painful to watch, it was still brilliant.

7 was pretty crappy in comparison to earlier seasons. But still..I'd take 10 more crappy seasons..because even crappy Buffy is good Buffy 🙂
 
I would've wanted to see a movie. So much so that I crafted an ANGEL movie story and a BUFFY movie story. ANGEL would come first and connect into BUFFY. I'm sure they suck though.
 
Yes, because I think Season 7 is just awful. People just seemed to stop caring and I don't want to imagine how bad the show would have gotten. Thank goodness Angel season 5 was so good and it allowed me to leave the Buffyverse on a good note
 
I was really sad when I started season 7. Becasue I never wanted BTVS to end. I think the season is often so brilliant, I really want a next season! I don't really care how good or bad this season would have been! In fact I think the quality of the seasons changed a lot. But I would watch more bad seasons than none. And Buffy the vampire slayer is amazing even the bad seasons are amazing enought to be worth seeing!
 
No, I didn't want it to end after season 7, because if it continued we wouldn't have had to have the really out there comics with
Buffy and Angel having universe-creating space-sex. And Spike wouldn't have lost his soul and given it to Drusilla. And Giles wouldn't have died. Theoretically.
No offence to season 8 fans.

I agree, except...
What's wrong with Spike losing his soul and giving it back in Dru? He got his soul back in the end.
 
No. Even if S7 wasn't that great, I'd still watch Buffy for a million seasons.
