Differences between Buffy and Angel Collections?

I wonder why they redid all of the discs for the Angel collection but not for the Buffy collection? Anyone know why? I was just wondering. I thought it would've been cool if they changed them for the Buffy one. Also, does everyone's Angel set have a limited edition number? I have one but I'm assuming it's not a huge deal...I don't know much about it. But my Buffy set doesn't have a number so I was just wondering.
 
Why doesn't anyone answer any of my questions regarding the sets? If someone asked & I knew, I'd let them know. Geez, I guess I won't ask about them anymore. Nobody seems to wanna talk about the sets...I love the sets.

What do you mean they redid them? What do they look like? Because I LOATHE the art on the individual seasons of Angel, with the quotes. Mega lame.
 
To be honest I can not answer you as I am hoping to buy the Box sets for myself this year. I have a thing about box sets.... it's the best way to watch a show in my opinion 🙂

I always thought the Buffy and Angel collections that come together were the same as the individual DVD season's you could buy, instead for the collections they just them in one big pretty box and gave them special names. Anyway not a fan of the menu design for Angel season 2, its rubbish compared to season 1 where it has a bit of animation to it.
 
Well from what I can remember, the discs were different in the box sets than in the complete collection of Angel. I'm pretty sure they redid them, maybe not for all of them though?? Who knows...Sorry I didn't mean to annoy anyone & my 2nd post was mostly sarcastic, I was just frustrated lol I just thought people here were sure to know about it. If they weren't all limited edition, then maybe they redid the discs for the limited edition...
 
The art work for the Angel DVDs was redone for the series boxset. I actually like them better like that. I wish they would have redone the art for the Buffy DVDs. I know that didn't answer your question but *shrugs*
 
I haven't seen the boxed sets out of the box, so I don't know what they look like in regards to the originals. 🙁 I thought all the discs looked fine the way they are though...
 
I think it all comes down to whoever is putting the series together. Buffy and Angel most likely had different people assigned to making the boxsets.
