Different Writers

I think this is in the right place i apoligise if it's not


ok so if buffy was going to be rewritten completly season 1 - 7 and there was going to be a season 8 that was not a comic but say like in the form of books or fanfiction (all of the seasons would be in this type of writing)

And there was a completly new team of writers

Would you read it Or would you try to get on the writers team? or would it be both? or neither with your answer could you please state why?

I would certainly give it a chance on its own merit, though I can't definitely say that I would accept it as the "old Buffy," depending a lot on just how much "rewriting" you mean. A complete new story line with all new characters might be more easy to accept that any radical changes in the characters and situations we have grown used to. The bottom line, for me at least, would be seeing the product before I could make any definite answer.
