Digital cameras?

Anyone own a digital camera? What model? I'm on the hunt for one, and I don't even know where to start. I want something small...with one of those preview screens on the back...easy-to-use...and would be relatively good for use at concerts and such. Any suggestions are welcome!

I've got a Kodak one which is a few years old now but perfectly serviceable. The best one in our family, however, is Mrs P's little Nikon Coolpix jobbie which I wish was mine - so that's the one I recommend - I can't remember the model number exactly but I can find out if you're interested. I have also heard good things about Canon and Olympus digital cameras. These days you can get a very good camera for not too much money so it's worth looking around for good deals...Coolpix - great cams, rubbish name 😉

Thanks! A friend of mine recently got a Kodak DX7440 or some random number. He said he enjoys it immensely. From what I've read, it seems like a great deal, lots of options. I've read so many reviews of varying Canon, Olympus, Kodak and Nikon cameras that they all tend to blur together now, lol. I do believe I know which Nikon you're referring to, though. I'll have to check that one out some more...might be a possibile buy!

We've got a Sony 3.1 megapixel (is that it? not sure myself what the megathingies are for a camera). The memorystick is an easy medium to use, but I'm finding the software they supply to download to a computer sucks big time...difficult to navigate, and not very user-friendly....but the camera rocks. It's not so small that you could lose it easily, but small enough to be transportable. Good pics too!

Mike has a digital camera... but that's all I know. It takes pretty pics which I can upload onto my site. 😀 I'm so useless with these things sometimes. lol

Mrs P's camera is a Nikon Coolpix 2100 (See it here) which is a 2 megapixel camera but it seems to have been replaced by a newer model - the 3200 seems to be the equivalent but has better specifications (see it here).

edit - actually, the equivalent is the Coolpix 2200 (see it here) the 3300 comes in at about the same price Mrs P paid about 18 months ago for the 2100.
