Nathan Fillion can D0 N0 WRONG in my book, he didn't disappoint. Caleb is truly a scary and brutal villian.

Buffy and C0. got their butts handed back to them.

Glad to see Faith back in the mix.

Pooooooor Xander...

I couldn't stand Caleb...he creeped me out and pissed me off...which means that Nathan did superb in the roll...

The first time I saw Caleb, I thought he is innocent man. Now I always skip that scene 'til Willow and Faith get out of the car.

Ooh, I love the scene in cemetary. >_<

I loved Caleb! - And NF played him so awesome! - that whole "preacher bad-boy" thing just rocked! I liked the way he talked about "the good book" and so forth, and how he "twisted" the religious context. Just reminds me of all religious zealots. 😀

...

Agreed! Xander didn't deserve that.

Caleb kicked ass, he was one of my fave big bads.
The whole Priest thing was weird, lol.

i also liked his accent too.

Nathan Fillion is brilliant. OMG that scene in the truck might be my most favorite villain entrance in the show EVER. In fact, it is. 🙂
I love this episode. And I cried like a baby over what happened to my Xan-Man. Awwww. :*(

Agreed. Also, "In Xander's Speedo" caused the major chuckles
His entrance was phenomenal. Really. Nathan Fillion is pretty much the definition of cool. His work on Firefly and Buffy shows how much range he has. And in the movie, Waitress. Caleb was really amazing.
Although, I must say, when he gouged out Xander's eye, I screamed aloud. And my mouth hung open for the remainder of the episode.

Caleb was just so creepy! The preacher ex serial killer who is just sadistically evil to women! YUCK! NF did a great job but I would liked to see a less anti-climactic battle between him and Buffy in the end. I would have liked to see their last battle happen like when she fought the Turok Han!

I loved it when she got soo angry and she did that amazing punch and blasted him in the shafts lol..

I'm going slightly away from the character of Caleb here, but figured I'd just post in here instead of making a new thread.

I watched this episode and little while ago, and Buffy absolutely infuriated me. I think she is so hyprocritical in the episode! She is so out of line to Faith, when you consider how Spike can do absolutely no wrong in Buffy's eyes and Faith has come to help.

It just made me really angry, and is a perfect example of why I don't like Buffy as much in the later seasons. I think she becomes quite arrogant and self-absorbed to some extent, not just with Faith, but with Giles too.

Sorry, I just had to rant about that.

I do however, love it when Buffy punches Faith and Faith makes a snide comment on Buffy's punch! 😛

Pooooooor Xander...

I saw Serenity/Firefly before Btvs and I still remember how shocked I was seeing NF in Dirty Girls. Now I admire him for the guts to play such a terrifying character.

The only thing better would have been if they brought Caleb earlier in the season.

I enjoyed Caleb so much my 2nd time through because I'd watched Firefly and Captain Mal is so awesome. So I was seeing Caleb in a new light, not really the character actually, but just realizing the range the actor has. Caleb was a pretty rockin' bad guy.
