Discussion of 1.04 "Past Tense" - Airing 11/20/03

This episode is my favorite so far. I Love how it kept me guessing the entire time and at first I thought it was that black guy aka the 6th guy 😛 Then I was like no, It cant be so then i thought it was the guy the stripper got mad at and it turned out to be the "groom" It's always who you least expect!

I love this show more with each episode that airs. Hopefully it will last a long time. The ratings did increase a little with this eppy.

That's the same with me! The more I watch this show, The more I Love it!
 
I am just in love with the show, so if they cancel it I will go crazy.
 
Great episode. It really made up for the fact that it was a week until I could watch the tape (which meant that I got to watch an eppy of TC and you guys didn't!) 🙂

Just a note that Blake (aka "the big angry guy", "the 6th guy", and "the scary guy") was played by Leonard Roberts, who played Riley's buddy Forrest in Season 4 of Buffy. It was good to see him again.

Highlights for me **strippers!!** Eliza running again! 'Turquoise' ripping off the guys' wallets (I'm glad they explained what had happened to their wallets) Poisoning the *ice* and did I mention **strippers!!**

Tru: Why does everyone think I look like a stripper?
Me: Does the phrase 'cleavage-y slut-bomb' ring a bell?

But was I the only one troubled by the fact that the guys (except Blake) immediately accepted that this girl in street clothes was a complimentary bartender? Every time I've been at a hotel function with a bartender, the bartender wore a white shirt and black pants and a bow tie.
 
mmm I thought of that too. Also I thought it was weird that when Tru went to talk to the groom, he asked if his fiance had sent her. She couldnt have as the wedding wasnt on. And he knew that, so that question didnt make any sense.

I loved this ep, but still it only comes in third out of the four, with "putting out fires" as #1 and "Brothers Keeper" as #2

Anyway! I really really loved the twist in the end - I love the way teach epi has a new twist, so that u never know what to expect! This time though, I knew it wasnt the "angry black guy" cot that was too obvious!

I thought I'd seen him somewhere though - so it was Forrest!! I thought I'd seen him before!
 
I missed all those things because I mostly don't look for stuff like that in eppys
 
Anybody else notice how when Tru went into the crypt to find out which dead body was calling her, Davis told Luc (the guy lost on the way to his interview) that she just walked into the crypt for no reason 'all the time'? Wouldn't he not remember all the other times she did that because those days got re-lived and the people she saved weren't there the second time through? Guess I'm just a stickler for continuity.
 
Well how I see it is this: It's not everyday there's someone needing her help. Sp I'd guess she'd walk inthere everyday when at work to see if there's anyone calling for her. And most days there arent, so those would be the days Davis remembers. The days that she relives, he doesnt remember.
 
Yeah... that makes sense because I remember Tru telling Harrison that not everyday she relives it
