Discussion of 1.05 "Haunted" - Airdate 12/4/03

I'm guessing the students in this episode are really stupid because they're putting themselves in death danger!!! lol...from the previews that I saw last night, it looks like Tru doesn't save the girl. But maybe she'll come back to life or something...who really knows?
 
This is the first episode written by Doug Petrie, who was a writer/producer for Buffy and Angel, and wrote most of the most important Faith episodes. So it's going to be great to see what he can do with Tru.

Doug has a tendency to rip-off movies, and this episode is a total take off of the movie Flatliners.
 
Ugh...It's so stupid that we will have to wait two weeks to see it though! There is no way I can wait that long.

I agree. I watched the preview with my friend who doesn't watch the show and when it was done she looked at me and said "those students are the dumbest people ever." ...and I couldn't have said it better myself. Hehe. Looks like an interesting story. Although, nothing is more annoying then watching someone working their ass off to save a really stupid person... oh well.

So, are we going to be seeing more of Luc? I personally think that the firefighter was so INCREDIBLY much more hot that him. Oh wow. And Eliza and him were so cute together! 🙂 Sad!
 
I think she should just let the students die. Make the world a better place by letting the retards kill each other off.

You would really have to trust the person that is supposed to bring you back...hmmm how many people would you trust to bring you back if you were stupid enough to try that? I don't even think I would trust even my closest friends. I'm normaly a relatively optimistic person but in that situation I would freak out too much. Something could go wrong...and with my luck it will go wrong! I don't think I could ever take such a risk. I wouldn't even be comfortable being the one resuscitating the idiot.
 
Two weeks!??! huh!! WHY!??! This is horrible!! They get us addicted and make us wait...then they make us wait more!! Wth!
 
from wut it showed after last episode, it does look like the students are stupid, lol. but i dont think they showed everything after the girl's heart stopped beating, obviously...so i think it starts up again, and things happen from that point...
 
yea they said at the end of the episode that it was two weeks....i wanna know why....I WANT ANSWERS!!!!....fox needs to tell us these things...lol....they will probably show something stupid in place of tru calling next week.
 
Yea it probably is because of thanksgiving...they probably figure nobody would be watching it on thanksgiving.....even though i would watch it....but thats just me, i don't know about everyone else.
 
I would watch it too but I am having company so in a way I'm glad it's not airing incase I would miss it so this way since they are posponing (sp?) it, I wont get to miss it! 😀
 
🙁 I believe that we have to wait 2 weeks because the US is having their thanksgiving and most people wouldn't be watching it because they are having time with family. But want about us that don't live in the US, I had my thing last month because I am in Canada. I am not going to have anything to watch on Thursday night, but I could watch the re-run of last weeks Angel.

🙁 My channel that shows Tru doesn't have previews, so I have no idea what the next eppys looks like. but what i have read it does sound like the students are really stupid for trying something like that.
 
The real deal

No matter what way you slice it, shows rip off other people's concepts, it's the way it is. That, however, doesn't prevent this show from being the best thing on television! It kicks booty any way you slice it!
