Discussion of 1.05 "Haunted" - Airdate 12/4/03

I got addicted to Tru Calling too... I love figuring out who's the killer with my twin sis, we even argue... lol... But having to wait another week is going to kill me!! I hope they air it, If they don't then I have to tune to FX and see if they're givin the Buffy Thanksgiving Marathon like every year... lol (I think I will see it til TC starts, if they don't air it, I'll tune it back to FX)
 
They're not going to air it. I know it sucks, but I would rather see it next week when I'm not away for the holiday than miss it. Plus I think the ratings would be super low if they aired it tomorrow since a lot of people would be away with their family's instead of in front of the TV.

Sorry to anyone else who doesn't live in the US (or even those of you who do) and watches the show and has to wait. C'est la vie. :/
 
I don't mind the wait, I had to wait 2 weeks for a new Alias a couple weeks ago.
 
O.C. fans had to wait a LONG time (I think 4 or 5 weeks) for a new episode because it debuted early and then the World Series took up the airing time. Then they changed the day in between... just crazy. I can wait a week... and by the way, Dr. Dolittle 2 is on tonight instead of Tru Calling and a repeat of The O.C. Good movie... not as good as Tru Calling, but we already knew that... 😀
 
I might watch that movie again tonight. It was really funny
 
its thanksgiving and alot of ppl are away so theyre playing sumthhing else sweeps are over so repeats, as much as they suck, are going to get randomly stuck in teh middle of the season especially when they play like 5 million repeats in a row over christmas on most shows
 
I didn't have to worry because my mom watched Football all day anyhow.
 
I agree, the premise is definitely "Flatliners".

Obviously, they skipped a week for Thanksgving. This is worrisome as both Christmas and New Year's Day are Thursdays. TV Tome now lists "Haunted" (1-5) on 12/4, "Star Crossed" (1-6) on 12/11, and both "Closure" (1-7) and "Murder in the Morgue" (1-8) on 12/18. This looks likea double-dose of Tru to set up for a 3-week gap.

Episode 10 is entitled "Valentine", which means even more skipped weeks to have that air on 2/12, the Thursday closest to Valentine's Day.

During that period of time they are going to show re-runs I hope, I need to see the second eppy.
 
Yea i understand them not showing during christmas and new years because of people spending time with their families and having other things to do.....but hopefull they will show repeats so i can get my weekly fix of tru calling....and i usually try to avoid family get togethers as much as possible so it would give me something to do, oh well...i guess we will have to wait and see.
 
Great!! Not long to go now then! I'm really impatient, as soon as I finish an epi I long for more.
I just cant wait - a week have never seemed so long to me before lol
 
I am actaully not like that for some reason. Like with the 2 week wait for Alias I wasn't that impatient. But I so hope they play re-runs during the holidays, because I need to see the second eppy
 
depends on how good the episode looks i might get impatient... i was impatient with alias...than because of the football game i could not see it until 2 in the morning i thought i left the vcr ready and no i didnt ><

yea you have to see episode 2 because it was a really good one...i hate waiting 7 days till the next episode so waiting two weeks was really bad.
 
I am going to watch it during the re-runs this holiday(I just hope we get re-runs)
 
I have the same feeling with this show and some of my other shows (Alias,Enterprise and Jake 2.0) I do have a long list of shows that could go on that list
