I really enjoyed this episode and it was fantastic to see Faith again.
Anyone recognise "Deb" from the prison fight scene?. If not, cast your mind back to Buffy's "What's My Line".. the psycho-cop? that's her!. (or at least it's the same actress).
I liked Faith's new attitude too, the way she's matured from the wise-crack remarks of Season 1. The fact that it was Angel, and because he'd helped her on the road to redemption, it was time to repay part of the favour.
I loved the way she faced up to Connor, who, in my opinion was super-bratty and whiney all through the episode. It's about time someone took him down a peg or two, and it was down to Faith to do the job, which she did brilliantly.
Evil Cordy (or as those on the WB boards have re-named Cordelius). Jury is out on her for me. She doesn't seem all that particularly scary to me, though that may change in the future. Though i must admit i did like that evil little look she shot at the beginning of the episode. She certainly didn't like Faith being around.. probably because of the past history between the two girls, but also i think, that the girl could possibly be a spanner in the works of the plans she may (or may not) have for Angelus. But she came off as spiteful, petty and a tad jealous to me. Especially when she saw the effect Faith was having on Connor and she chose that time to tell him about their baby (yikes! ).
Loved the warehouse scene. Loved the fights, and the way Faith and Angelus faced off to each other. When she flung the winch at him, which missed, but it brought in the newly restored sun. Nice move. And when Angelus just walked away, i was reminded a lot of Buffy Season 2 and her run ins with Angelus.
Faith fitted in so well, it was great to see her back!. 🙂
