The Woman A.K.A. Jasmine (guest star Gina Torres), who was born to Cordelia (Charisma Carpenter), has the amazing ability to turn everyone she meets, including Angel (David Boreanaz) and the gang, into loyal disciples dedicated to carrying out her every command. Only Fred (Amy Acker) is able to see that Jasmine's radiant beauty hides a sinister and powerful secret the others refuse to believe.

I'm still really intrigued by this episode and even if I don't enjoy it, I like the title!!

I think this is the most interested in Angel I've been this year except from the opening few episodes. Looking forward to seeing how this plays out.

And I'm wondering how Fred is the only one immune to Jasmine's 'charms'.

Thursday was a weird night for me because I didn't quite know how to feel about this episode and also the Buffy episode Empty Places.

Some of the acting seemed off to me. I found Connor and Angel irritating and some of Fred's early hysteria seemed, I don't know, bad!!

The fight scenes seemed kinda cheesy too. I'm guessing that in these cases it was supposed to feel like that because everything was forced.

I really like Jasmine. I think that Gina Torres is a good bit of casting. She plays the superior being well and has this confident gracefulness that I really like. (I'm getting mental images of her playing Storm in X Men - no offence to Halle!!) Also, when Jasmine speaks I almost feel like I'm falling for her enchantment. I love the way this has been done, then again it just could be me!

I liked Jasmine's true face and that we only got a brief glimpse, worked better than having it in our faces all the time, makes it scarier.

Amy Acker was superb at the episodes end when she realised Wes wasnt going to back her and she made her escape from the Hotel. I really felt her aloneness. Jasmine on tv was clever. I loved when Fred walked out of the cafe and a passing man noticed the tv broadcast and knelt down to watch.

I'm really looking forward to the next episode and lots more Fred and Jasmine!!

Didn't think this was one of the better episodes to be honest. And Amber, you hit it right on the head, Angel and Connor were a little on the irritating side. Jasmine was very convincing but i did like Amy's performance. I think Andy Hallet's performance was the only one that didn't feel "odd" to me.

Hated Angel's light coloured shirt, those yellow stripes were horrible.

And did you know Gina Torres who plays Jasmine is married to Laurence Fishburne?.

Hoping it'll get better and we're not getting that odd Pylea type arc storyline as we're getting close to the season finale. It's been a cracking season so far, be a shame to see it fizzle out. Hope i'm proved wrong. I really didn't like this episode much, it even bored me at times.

🙁 Didn't like this......after the greatness of earlier this season *Sighs*....Jasmine 's already bored me to death fifteen times over!!Is this all the last couple of seasons have led to??😡 Rubbish, rubbish, rubbish,Rubbish!!🙁

The problem with Fred-centric episodes is that IMO Amy Acker is not a great actress,in a group fine but on her own......::thumb::

God it sucks big time!!.........It better get specatcular real soon :: hiding:

Loved this episode, reason being becos it was a Fred centric!!!

I really enjoyed it, I love Jasmine although she wants Fred dead, I liked her voice, Gina plays her very well!!!

Cant wait for next weeks!!!
