Discussion of 4.19 "The Magic Bullet"

For once the hotel was like a hotel, with people checking in and out and lost of new faces...fair enough Jasmine ate them 😀

I loved the return of the singing, especially Angel and Connors duet....i'm sure Barry Manilow wont mind that they changed the words 😉 Perhaps he's a follower of Jasmine too.

Other than that I was not really taken by this episode, the only thing that got me thinking is why the whole blood thing did not work on Connor.

Any suggestions?

It's only Sunday and I can't really remember the episode clearly. That cant be a good sign!!

I liked the little demon guy that Fred met, shame he wasn't a Clem like demon!!

I did like Angel and Connor singing - OMWF it aint but it made me laugh! I love the references to Mandy, thats the second this season!

I still like Jasmine and I loved the 'I ate them line'.

Not sure why Connor wouldn't be affected. Maybe it has something to do with him being Jasmine's 'daddy'. Either that or just the writers' way of keeping Connor the most annoying member of the cast!!

Although I still love watching Angel, I'll be glad when this season is over so we can maybe start afresh with new storylines in season 5 with hopefully lots more Gwen and lots less Connor!

This episode was better than last week's but still not as good as the season has been, it seems like it's deflating slightly.

Laughed at Connor and Angel singing "Jasmine" to the theme of "Mandy".

The look on Angel's face when he finally saw Jasmine's "true" face. He was in complete shock.

I'm hoping the last few episodes start to pick up before the season finale, it's starting to be as odd as the Pylea arc was two seasons ago. Not a bad thing necessarily but after an amazing season to date, the whole Jasmine thing seems a little... left field.
