The offices of Wolfram & Hart are under attack by cyborg assassins who are seeking a magical device that will give them control over Angel (David Boreanaz). Meanwhile, Wesley (Alexis Denisof) is surprised by the unannounced arrival of his estranged father (guest star Roy Dotrice, "Beauty and the Beast") who has come to evaluate Wesley for possible reacceptance to the Watcher's Council.

I know the jist of the eppy, and i gotta say it sounds funny.

I'm not really sure if i'm gonna enjoy it or not, although i have enjoyed every eppy of the season.

Waiting for tonight.
 
I can't watch it tonight cos CSI:Crime Scene Investigation is on and my Dad would prefer to watch that so we have to tape it and watch it tomorrow. ::crying::

That's what's happened to my friend, so i lend her the video.

I thought it wasa great eppy, again.

I kinda guessed Wesley's dad would be a cyborg thing.

Thought it was sad at the end with Wes and Fred and then Knox interrupts.

Loved it when Gunn was being strangled and Spike's just standing there concentrating.

Now i think over it the plot wasn't all that great, but it did the job for me, and i can't wait to see next weeks eppy, once again.
 
Another good ep. Good to see Wes taking centre stage. I liked the portrayal of his relationship with his father (even though it turned out not to be...) and also the development of the Wes/Fred attraction. But the big question has to be - Who were those masked men? 🙂 Were the cyborgs goodies or more subtle baddies? How did they get access to Watcher records? I can't wait to find out...
 
I liked this episode. I thought Spike's introduction to Wesley's dad was so funny. And I felt like shooting Knox at the end when he interupted Wes and Fred, they where having a moment 🙁

I felt really sorry for Wes in this episode. Nothing seemed to go right for him.
 
Great episode. I felt fro Wes when he thought he'd shot his dad. And he would of shot him to save Fred. Which is kinda sweet in a deluded way! 😉

Love Spike trying to make Wes feel better by telling him he killed his mum then she tryed to 'do' him! lol
 
The episode was FANTASTIC! Wes if my favourite character and it was great to see him take the spotlight. It was a chance for Alexis to show what a great actor he is. It was kinda sweet the way he shot his "Dad" as soon as he thought Fred was in danger. Spike had a few funny lines in the episode and it was good when he saw Gunn being choked and yelled "GUNN!" as he ran up to help him. It made him seem like he was slowly joining the group. Lorne really had nothing to do this episode.

I loved the way that they had Emil at the begining. Emil was mentioned in the season 4 episode "Spin The Bottle". While Wes is practicing using his collapsible sword just before Lorne rings he says: Tell Emil if it tests right in the field...(telephone rings) he'll be hearing from me again. (hands the man a stack of cash). The black man at the begining of "Lineage" is also called Emil. At one point he says: To think, I used to sell this guy collapsible swords. This was a totally isignificent piece of information in the story I just thought it was kinda cool that we saw a guy who was talked about in season 4.
 
The opening sequence was a bit odd. I was watching it and it was okay, but then Wesley did the whole Matrix thing and I was thinking "right this HAS to be a dream sequence, this is TOO corny" but not it was real.

Rest of the episode was good, I actually *felt* something when Wes shot his robot dad, a pain kind of- more like just a feeling- in my stomach. The way it was so cold, brutal and sudden just hit me.

That made me laugh for so long, i seriously almost wet myself.

Really intrigued about the cyborg thing and where they came from.
