When another mysterious package arrives at Wolfram & Hart that recorporealizes Spike (James Marsters), the gang learns that the existence of two living ensouled vampire heroes has created chaos in the world. After Eve (Sarah Thompson) tells them about a prophecy that states that the only way to restore order is to find the Cup of Perpetual Torment that bestows human life, Angel (David Boreanaz) and Spike battle it out for the ultimate prize. A series of flashbacks show the history of Angel and Spike and their relationship with Drusilla (guest star Juliet Landau).

Spike is finally getting a body! I can't wait for this episode. The Angel / Spike fight is gonna kick ass.
 
Yay, a corporeal Spike, at last.

I'm really looking forward to this episode. I've heard this is such a good episode from some of my US buddies, so i can't wait.

But i've heard spoilers about what happens at the end of Angel, so i'm feeling pretty depressed 🙁.
 
I really enjoyed the episode.

I love the way Spikey got got corporealised again, and then walked ionto the door and started touching Angel.

Lol & then "that's a nice skirt" to Harm, that made me lol so much.

I love flashback episode and i always feel sorry for spike in them.

Lol @ him still going on about his mum coming onto him. It makes me pee myself everytime.

Glad it's another great eppy,

I'm not looking forward to watching the other eppy's now because i read a spiler which has made me very upset, and also last series 🙁
 
That was Lindsey, wasn't it? Only, I didn't notice a prosthetic hand...Looks like a major season story arc is about to commence. It's looking good so far to me.

Given David Fury's comments about this season's love story and the events (and flashbacks) in this ep between Spike and Angel I reckon you Spangel fans are going to be in for a treat 🙂
 
i loved this episode. flashbacks are my fav but was it just me or did they accidentily forget about past flash back episodes lol. it jsut got me becuase i made this wallscroll a little while ago from the buffy episode fool for love. about when the fanged four were in yorkshire. and angelus said "and when did you start talking like that" it was the same year as spike was sired. but spiks accent didnt change in this epsiode. and it seems to me that they obviously knew each other in yorkshire. but he was talking like he does now when Dru introduced william for the first time to angelus.

but oh well. it was still a great episode. i would have adored it if they had brought Julie in for the flash backs. but what i really really loved was when angel and spike fought especially when buffy was mentioned. i mean what with the show over they dont mention her and the old gang a lot but it was great how they brought it up.

oh and i cant wait to see more lindsey
 
Something I meant to say earlier but pesky work got in the way again 😉
I know that Angel has always been the darker show but with the sex and violence quota in "Destiny" it really was in adult territory. Perhaps HBO would be the best home for any further seasons?
 
Is it just me or did Spike dominate the fight? Spike would beat up Angel, Angel would get in a few hits, Spike would laugh, Spike would beat up Angel. I don't know why Spike was so bloody at the end cause Angel did hardly anything. This is very shabby work by whoever directed the fight.
 
This episode rocked! Thanks god the cup thing wasnt real, it just seemed a little stupid...

Loved Spike taking one of Angels WnH cars while Angel was rambling on!!
 
This episode was WICKED!!!
I got a bit too carried away though when Spike and Angel were fighting, I was shouting at the TV:

''Come on Angel! Kick his ass!''

Lol...Im very weird...but it was very well written...
Up to now, I completely hated Eve, grrr....but when she did that scene with Fred ''Im not the bad guy'' or...the ''enemy'' she might've said...I cant remember....anyway...yeah...that actually brought a tear to my eye...but then at the end...when she got in bed with Lindsey...I thought...well...I cant really post what I thought cuz of bad language and all...lol...
But anyways, yeah, cool ep!
 
It was a good episode, loved all of it. When they said Wesley was away I was like "Marrying Alyson!". Anyway it was truely a great episode, the fights were increadible (even though their jumping abilites seemed to improve).

During the 3rd adverts I clicked onto the epsiode's page on TVTome and it said about Lindsey which spoilt it for me, curses!

With that and Nip/Tuck it was a great night of TV

Thats what I did! lol

Dru was great in this ep too. (When isn;t she great!?)

Can't help but feel fro Spike and Hate Angelus though. (Thta irish accent just keeps getting worse 😉 )
 
Another excellant episode, S5 is neat! I liked Eve for the first time.
 
I knew Lindsey was coming back, but i didn't know it was in this eppy so iwas like OMG, and eve with him, i was thinking what's going on there eh?

And with all the creepy symbols and stuff, makes you wonder.

Agreeing about loving the bit where Spike stole Angels car while he was yabbering on.

The fight scene i got a bit carried away with, and i accidentaly kicked my dad 😉 i wasn't sure who i wanted to win the fight.
