I've read the some spoilers for this particular episode and I've seen the promotional pictures. It looks really good action-wise. But I hope it goes in depth with characters the way happened in Harm's Way and Soul Purpose.

For the 100th episode it doesn't look like it will be up to the standards I would have wished from a 100th episode, but it still looks very good. It will be very good to see Cordelia again, I really want to see what she thinks of Angel's move to Wolfram and Hart. From what I've heard she's not too happy about it,maybe she can knock some sense into Angel, and get him out of his weird mood he's been in lately.

I agree. Maybe Cordelia can smack some sense into Angel. She seems to be the one who can get through to him more than any of the others. I guess we'll have to watch to find out.

Wesley says that Lindsay's tattoos(protection symbols) are derived from Enochian language. I think what he is referring to angelic script, the sacred writing of angels that was passed down to mankind, according to mystic Jewish texts.
Also, the method of "magic" that was supposedly used by Elizabethan sorcerer John Dee (who was also Queen Elizabeth's physician and metaphysician) is often referred to as Enochian, also derived from mystical Jewish texts and Hermeticism.

One thing what i didn't understand was why Spike was automatically like "I'm out of the running" when there is still the phones and the vagueness of the shanshu. I mean Angel definitely still has the odds in his favor if the prophecy is even legit, but it just didn't seem like Spike to say that.
A lot of stuff about the ambiguity of shanshu was staged by lindsay/eve but not all of it.
Plus it's kind of annoying because it takes away the whole "who will win it, if anyone at all?" excitement that was starting to become the arc of the season. But who knows?
If we've learned anything from Angel, it's that prophecies are often b*llsh*t or at best inaccurate.

A lot of people on the WB site were confused about the Cordelia death. Was it her ghost? Allow me to offer up a possible explanation:
The astral double is kind of like your soul although often it is described as a secondary soul. Shamans in the americas and scandinavia can control their doubles, their bodies go into a coma-like trance and their doubles leave their bodies to do other things. There are accounts of non-shamans using doubles.
Usually when one is sleeping, sometime their double will go off to do something significant like save someone. Sometimes in the form of an animal, but usually it's just the person, and usually it's corporeal.
It was her "double" or the closest thing to that in the buffyverse.
The astral double is essentially leaving your body corporeally while in a deep sleep to accomplish an important task. That was what she did in a nutshell.
The PTB allowed her to do this as a gift, and her body died while she was gone. So it was a simple matter of just going off to the Afterlife from Angel's friggin office. There is an explanation for y'all to vibe with that is actually rooted in myth and legend.
