I do. It's not Angel but Wesley from season 3's episode "Loyalty". In the episode, Wes goes to Loa in search of answers involving Angel and the prophecy concerning baby Connor.
 
I just saw it..And absolutely LOVED IT!!!! Illyria was great,Angel was fantastic(nothing new here really🙂)..Well I have to say it....I think I'm starting to like new Connor..For the first time he was not annoying...I really can't wait to see the next ep...
 
Awesome episode.I was kinda dreading the return of Connor, but he was so much better in this episode. I actually liked seeing him tie into this season. He wasn't...annoying. And Wes's response after he got his memory's back...and figuring it out and all...very good...

Yep, that's what he said... When you have a green horse (a young untrained horse) the term used for beginning training under saddle is "breaking"...when they are able to be ridden under saddle they are considered "broke"...just thought you may want to know that info...although to any non-horse people it's rather useless...
 
Excellent ep! Everyone, again, seems thrilld by the re-appearence of ConnEr. I personally prefer ConnOr, 😉.

The montage was great, so what were Wes' memorys before?
Anyone got any ideas on what Hamilton's offer was?
Spike was used well.
I don't think Gunn will be bothered by the mind-wipe thing as past events didn't really effect him, Lorne might be effected more. We'll have to wait and see.
WHY ON EARTH DID THEY NOT USE A REFERENCE TO DAWN?
 
Hostile 17, nobody from the show met Dawn, and the few times Angel crossed over I dont think he ever saw/spoke to Dawn.

Anyway what is this montage everyone keeps talking about. I cant remember it.
 
No, but Angel and Wes will both have met Dawn in their current memory's and I expect Buffy will have told Angel about who/what she is during S5 therefore they could have at least had him say something like 'these never go well'.
 
I really loved this episode. Connor was great. I always loved him. I think the reason that I have always like Connor, is because his character is played so well that it just blows my mind. So it's not that I like Connor at much as I like Vincent Kartheiser...
I hope that W&H put a chip in Spikes head to make him Illyria's pet!

I don't think that they will get there real memories about Dawn back because it wasn't the guy from this episode that made their memories about Dawn, and that's what the cube did, it held the powers of that guy.... The monks made Dawn's memories...

Wesley called it a reality shift. Didn't Angel call it an alternate reality in a previous episode? Is a reality shift the same thing as a mind-wipe?. Didn't Wesley also say the memories were altered? Altered is not wiped.

I have a problem with the term "mind-wipe". It implies nothing has taken it's place.

Actually, as Angelus, in season 4, he called Buffy's place and spoke with Dawn to see if Buffy was the slayer in LA. The he said "Oh, it's the other one" or something like that. But yes, Angel knows her, and remembers her being there the whole time.
Technically, so would Wesley.
 
Havnt seen AS4. But yes they may remember her btu I dont think Buffy would of bothered explaining the monks and reality altering to Angel. Would of been a nice nod to Buffy though.
 
Wow - what an amazing episode. I've enjoyed reading the discussion and won't repeat everything - just that I loved this episode! At first I was questioning whether Connor really did remember, but after reading here, I'm convinced.

I cannot believe there are only 4 episodes left. It's just too sad.

To me, one of the best Episodes this Season. First off, Illyria and Spike.....I don't know anybody who didn't love those scenes. Connor and Angel, sweet...a bit sad and and funny with all the questions and the collar fixing and the fighting tips. I knew he remembered from when he gave the camera the famous 'Connor' glare and then did this thing. I was like, He SO remembers!

I'm glad we got some closure with this character. I loved the character, but I loved the new more laid back easy going Connor, now I must right a fanfiction with him....cuz I'm in love again.

All in all, again I must state one of the best episodes...ever.
