I just picked up my issue and will be back to share my thoughts shortly. What did you all think?

I've just finished reading #8 and I have to say I really enjoyed it.

Maybe for the first time, I actually recognize the characters, they are acting just as they previously did in the TV series.

Not perfectly adjusted Faith, not broken unrecognizable Angel.

All that sounds so true.

Great issue.

Haven't had the chance to read this one, yet, but I'm hoping it's what I've been waiting for a while - an in depth look into Faith's traumas.

I love how writers explore the problem of dealing with loss and grief, and I'm looking forward to the next issue to find out their verdict.

So far, we see two ways, represented by Nadira's attitude ("I want to hurt") which, clearly, leads to her self-destruction and Faith's decision to let Lorophagos take the pain away (which, according to issue 6 turns people into sociopaths and murderers). I'm very curious if the writers can find the third way to deal with it.

I may sound cynical, but, for Angel, who is an artist, the best way to exorcise his demons would be pouring his pain on a canvas and creating a tableau that would make Hieronymus Bosch envious. But I can't even start to guess what could Faith do in her situation.

The nice people from TFAW just delivered my issue today, and after reading it, I have what might seem like a strange question to ask.

When did Faith become left handed? Almost exclusively, when she is shown holding her sword one handed, it is in her left. When she unlocks her door, the key is in her left. Whenever she punches, grabs, or pushes, it is with her left hand. Way too much to be coincidence. I went back and looked in the previous issues, same thing. Left handed. Faith in the TV series as right handed, and Eliza is right handed. As I said, way too much to be a simple coincidence or artist screw up. So, what's this building up to?

And, could there be any possible connection with what's happening currently in San Francisco?

Or should I just cut back on my caffeine intake late at night?

@MoscowWatcher I feel like that might've been discussed in an episode of one of the shows, but Google isn't turning anything up. Dang!

So, left-handed Faith doesn't mean that part of Giles' personality has accidentally been transferred into her.

I enjoyed this series for the most part, except I don't like Dru sane. One of the reasons why I loved Dru because she was insane. I feel like she's a different character in this series.
