In the absence of anything official from Buffy...

Excellent ep drawing on a lot of stuff from previous eps (and Jaws 🙂)
It is Lindsey, isn't it? Despite the lack of an obvious artificial hand.
Spike would never have got the Doyle/vision thing, would he? Were the tattoos similar to what the First carved on Spike in Buffy S7 or were they just generic evil symbols?
Spike was brilliant this time (instead of just being there for just a moment for a witty line or two he had a part in the story) and the rest of the guys actually seemed to have something to do as well - unlike most of this season's eps where they seemed to be resting Wes, Gunn and Lorne every so often...
...so many questions arising - will they all get answered?
 
I had heard loads about this eppy, and i gotta say i thought it sounded a bit cheesy and lame, but WOW! With a capital WOW!

I gotta say i LOVED this episode so much.

Disappointed to see no official discussion thread tho!

The beginning w/ Angel and Spike made me laugh a lot, but i wasn't really sure why.

Spike in the alleyway w/ the girl he saved was great, Spike's such a bitch, so funny. Going on about how she couldn't walk two steps without tripping over in her shoes. Excellent!

When Angel said 'Kill them all' when Wes, Gunn & Fred were talking was so wierd it was really excellent the way it was sudden.

I liked Spike's little 'I'm the hero' bit.

Harmony was so sweet 'that can start fires too...' lol, very very funny indeed.

Loved them watching the 'apocalypse' like they were in the cinema, and i gotta say, looked kinda fun. They got to eat popcorn. 😉

And the Spike cake was so cool, the bits following were so pinnocchio, with the whole 'you're real' thing going on.

Wasn't Lorne creepy witht he slicked back hair when he was playing the Piano, for some reason he didn't look very like Lorne to me in this eppy. Looked wrong in the eye area.

My fave bit of the whole episode was definately Fred cutting Angel up.

"There's your liver, your kidney's..." "There's your heart, what d'ya know, it is a dried up little walnut."

Those bits had me wetting myself. I got told off for laughing too loudly 🙁

And the bear, hilarious.

I gotta say i think that the eppy was my fave so far, i keep saying that but this was so funny it was great.
 
Remember Lindsey got a new hand back in season 2 before he left. the only side effect was it was evil. but then he took his pick up truck and left LA, so i expect he's de-evil-fied it 😀

did anyone else have trouble working out the dialouge in the strip club? the music levels were way to loud.

i'd have to say not a bad Directing debut (i think its his debut atleast...) for Mr Borianaz or whatever he's called! considering he's in most the scenes! never an easy task!!

Aha, that explains it, thanks. I'd forgotten about the evil hand even though I remembered him leaving in a pickup truck - not long before dementia catches up with me I fear 🙂

Perhaps the hand has totally evilified the rest of Lindsay😉
 
Hmm I didn't like this weeks ep as much as I expected to...I just think that it got a little silly in some parts

[Lindsey pinches Lilah's ass] Lindsey: "Don't blame me, evil hand!"

Anyway back to episode.

I liked it, especially the Fred/Angel scene.

Fred:[pulls out a goldfish in a bowl]And this is your soul, [hands to a bear] here flush this! Thank you bear.

So crazily funny scenes but some good Angel/Spike jealousy themes going on. Plus Spike met Doyle in "In The Dark" but dont think he was named.
 
i loved loved loved this episode it was so amazing. and was it just me or was angel really cute in that mailboy outfit lol

i thought it was so funny fred and the bear. althought spike was annoying. and yeah ashsan is right spike and doyle have ment. just odd? but yeah not sure if he knew his name

but all of angels dreams were so good. aww i felt so sorry for him you got to love him. and i its so amazing david directed it 🙂 yay david 😀
 
Yeah it was his directing debut, and i thought he did a really good job of it.

Lol the dead soul goldfish made me laugh.

I don't know how you can't like this episode tho.
Mailboy outfit was cute.

I'm gonna have to go watch it again now on my video.
