The gang starts to have doubts about Angel's (David Boreanaz) loyalties when he appears to have become very close with the Circle of the Black Thorn, an evil secret demon society. When Drogyn (guest star Alec Newman), the guardian of the deep well, makes a startling revelation, the gangs' fears that Angel has become evil seem to be validated.

Please don't spoil UK viewers until after this ep has been shown. Getting close to the end now folks...sob, sniffle...

Wow! I knew that Angel couldn't be fully evil but he sure seemed to have gone a long way down that road - and knowing how Joss et al like to mess with us...😉

Cordy's visions being transferred to Angel as a one-time only deal - genius! I'm really looking forward to the finale now.

I love it when Angel(the character) is hard to pinpoint,takes a darker edge so I was really impressed with last night's sheanigans! :: tu ::

There's just been one little thing that's been bugging me about this episode. I know Angel was only acting to get into Circle of the Black Thorn but he is a member now. So, if they are going to try and get rid of the Circle of the Black Thorn, killing all their members, wouldn't they need to kill Angel too?

I liked this episode - Spike's "Angel and me have never been intimate, except that once" didn't hurt. I'm dreading and eagerly anticipating the finale at the same.

Very late posting about this but i thought it was really well done.

Never thought about Cordys visions being passed onto Angel...

Had so many good moments in it as well, but poor Illyria getting beaten up 🙁

That's horrible. You know how invested we fans get into this series and the characters, like more than normal people with those lame shows. We feel for them like they are real so saying something like that is really mean. May karma come after you.
