Lila teaches Dexter the lesson of how to gain control of one's life. As always Dexter is a good student. Things should get better. So why don't They?

A step up from last week's I thought. This one was a thinker's ep. I can tolerate that. Lila's flaws are starting to show. Another layer is being peeled back.

That damn supercop. He's just too good. Dexter might have met his match. But that's what I was thinking last season with the ice truck killer. Dex took care of that one.

Doakes isn't going to just lay down. I'm confident of that. So what's his next move, I wonder. I wonder if him and Supercop are going to make an alliance.

Deb and Supercop? I don't know how I feel about that one yet.

Rita flashed her strength again. Go Rita. Is Dexter bad for Rita, and Rita good for Dexter, or is Rita bad for Dexter, and Dexter good for Rita, or are they both good for each other, or bad for each other? I can't figure it out.

I don't know how I feel about where this season is going. Deb and supercop are together which is weird. And Lila really bugs me a lot. She has something up her sleeve with the fire and did yoiu notice the smirk she had when she was huging Dexter. And Dexter makes me mad for leaving Rita, Cody and Astor.

I get that, but you know what I'm noticing? If you get past the idea Dexter is a serial killing forensic expert, these things are the kinds of things real people do. The basic life situations, and the mistakes the characters make are pretty real.
