THANK YOU! The show is finally back on track. I knew I hated Lila from the get go. She is so whiney and attatchy and was not right for Dexter. This was a great episode because Dex finally realizes that Lila is NOT right for him. Wow I did not realize she was going to be so crazy and break into Rita's house etc. I am so happy to see that the Dark Passenger is back because he is going to need it know that Doakes has found his blood slide box. (and I mean come on how did he know to look in the air conditioner) Also the department knows it is one of them. Dex is in trouble and I think he is finally getting it. Man I cannot wait till next week I WANT MORE!

There was some genuinely freaky, intense stuff in this one. This the first time one of Dexter's murder scenes actually scared me, and yeah, Lila's shadow at Rita's house...spooky.

You know what scares me more though? With this writer's strike do they have the final 4 scripts? You'd think they would, but if they don't, can you imagine getting to the finale, but no wait, that one's not ready yet. We have to wait until next year sometime. Surely they're all in the can though. Aren't they?

Something else, I'm wondering about. Is it love that makes Dexter so protective of the people close to him like Deb, or Rita and her children, or is it something more primal, or just functional. Because if he loves, he's not really the monster he thinks he is, is he?

His concern for the Bennets does seem sincere.
