I agree. She looks like she is whithering away to me...almost like a corpse. Also, should we be noting which demons were present at the wedding? Is there anything in that? Also, Willow was on the grooms i.e. Warren's side of the church? Is she the ultimate betrayal that we have been warned about?

Don't know, but I wouldn't ignore the fact that Buffy's subconscious mind has chosen to marry her off to Warren. Is she forseeing betraying her own cause? And note that she's surrounded by symbols of her own failures and blown chances and things she feels guilty about... Future Dark Willow possibly triumphing over her Willow; Tara blaming her for her death; Caleb and one-eyed Xander; Angel and Spike choosing each other rather than her, despite her obvious feelings of entitlement to both of them...
 
This was amazing! I wish Jo would do more cause her drawings are amazing+ I hate the way the cartoony S8 versions of the characters look in my opinion.

This most definitley has to be a overshadowing hidden with comedy.

This has completley brought back my interest in reading volumes after volume one cause thats the only arc i've read.
 
OMG I loved it! For a 3 page story it was certainly above awsome! And now I must demand that we get an arc with Jo Chen doing the entire issue! Give her some lead time and she should be good to go. Seriously after this, this is how I imagined a Buffy comic even though I love the current art, Chen just brings it to a whole nother level.

I knew that Jo would draw Spike (and Angel) beautifully. This was very funny but I agree that it is probably foreshadowing events to come. I think I'm going to print it out...
 
I hope this is included in the Retreat TPB, but it sounds like it may not be and instead will be part of those Darkhorse Presents volumes, which I do not buy or care about.

Agreed, I hope the Tales of the Vampires Season 8 Spin-off makes it in there too.
